Quotevirgil QuoteRoom1009 Quotevirgil Of all my shows these are the only four songs that were played at every show with one exception. Honky Tonk, Jumping Jack, Brown Sugar, and Tumbling Dice. 2005 Pepsi center Albany NY Tumbling dice was not played. Don't mean to be picky, but that means there are only 3 songs they played at each of your shows?!! Room 1009 you are correct , Funny thing

For me very similar to a few others who have already posted. First show: 1990 Total number of songs played: 1035 Distinct number of songs played: 120 ; of which 15 = Keith songs Only 2 songs played at every show: BS and TD Boring fact: I saw my 50th show on the 50th tour Show Date Venue Country Tour Tracks 1 1990 Parc des Princes France Urban Jungle 24 2 1990 Wembley

One for the purists, but which nonetheless intrigues me. LA Friday Band Intros 0:40 MJ introduces Olly Brown on drums, and then also introduces CW on drums. Who was Olly Brown, why have I never heard of him since or before, and why was he playing drums?

Quotedead.flowers QuoteRolling Hansie That song doesn't exist for me +1 btw, what a question / topic to post here ! You are right, we should be grateful to have the chance to still hear them play anything live. But then again, it's ok to ask if anybody has an opinion on it...

Because it's not that interesting, like all the other guff from that album that came out in the reissue. PMS was probably the best, but still not very good. I much preferred the "new" stuff on Some Girls, would have loved to see a few of those tracks.

Hyde Park 2 was my 50th Stones show, it brought my 1000th live stones song (at Tumbling Dice), and I reached 120 distinct songs (with Emotional Rescue). During that run the only 2 songs they played each show were BS and TD. A few personal milestones I wanted to share. #yesikeepaspreadsheet As far as the show was concerned, I found myself filling out the set list at least 8 songs in adva

Quotegotdablouse ....D&G went down really well again last night and some young fans just behind new ALL of its lyrics amazingly enough! Could be that they got to the Stones via the new material? They liked it and came to the show. There's always lots of kids at Stones shows, always surprises me

I loved watching this video, it made me realise how privileged I was to see both hyde park shows. I admire these fans, I don't think that a 10 foot fence ruined their day, and they probably didn't complain either about the set list or that MT only played 2 songs. What a great atmosphere. In some ways, I wish I had been there with them on the outside rather than being inside.

Kings Cross to Edinburgh is the correct train station. Kings Cross has been undergoing a lot of redevelopment in recent years, and parts are quite fashionable. Still a long way to go but not nearly as bad as 10 years ago. You can't get much grander than the St Pancras grand hotel, recently opened. This is a top top hotel, but won't be cheap. Otherwise some of the budget hotels hav

QuoteToRockAndRoll Hi all! (In particular Room1009).... I landed the following tickets for Thursday's show: Block 113, 113, Row: U, Seat: 402,403 This seems more or less opposite what Room1009 had in Block 118. How could it be that those seats are face at 400, while others in the section are 226 or 150? Is there really that much of a difference? I also have seats in 103 which

QuoteKurt No way to justify these prices. Seriously, $ 831.90 to sit in the back of the arena? More power to the people who are buying these. More power to those who AREN'T buying these tickets. It is empowering to say no and do some soemthing different.

Quotebv I am flying over to London now and I will find a decent pub where we can meet up both during the week and on Sunday. Info coming by tomorrow at the latest. It will be central London. I do know exactly how it should look like, but suggestions from locals would be great. I stayed in the Oxford Circus last week, some were ok, I think my favorite The Hog in the Pound near Bond Street is gone

Quotetreaclefingers I'm quite suspicious as well. A short time ago, sometime after the release of Some Girls Deluxe in fact, I sent $10 to Church of the Sacred Bleeding Heart of Jesus, somewhere in Los Angeles California. Not only did they not play my prayer on the radio, I was never issued a tax receipt. I'm highly suspicious! Then i think you deserve to jump 20 red lights i

The main questiosn I want to ask are these: 1.is it possible that TM are dumping tickets straight to their own reseller market in order to create a false market? 2.are they doing this with the tacit approval of the promoter, if not the band themselves? 3.is this sort of thing normal in the industry? 4. is it now so obvious that the ticket market has been rigged for this tour due to the ver

Going out on a limb here with a conspiracy theory. Are we victims of a price fixing scam? The lack of tickets via TM, even in the seconds following ticket release, coupled with the immediate availability in the reseller market has got me thinking. Is it possible that a large chunk of tickets have been taken out of the primary system and dropped straight in the secondary market? This would g

Quotecustom55 same here +1 I'm not going to NYC but also pounced in the first few seconds just to "see", and all tickets were gone. I don't believe that it sold out in the first minute - the market at these prices in this economy simply doesn't exist. Me thinks this will be the tour to finish the stones, it is an epic farce so far. I've done every tour since
