Definitly a version worth to listen. This guy and his kids are better, than many other cover bands. They don't pose too much and they seem to be very relaxed. Their "home" version is also nice. And they obviously have humor and don't take themselves too serious.

Here is another highlight. 4 years ago she played with a smaler lineup. This recording is from wxpn winter session in Nashville, December 2020. Very intimate. She covers different genres easyly.

This is one of my favorite tunes of ER from the very beginning in 1980. I always wondered why they didn't try to perform it.

When I try to cover a song and it doesn't work, it might be because the song itself is not too good. Of course it's not necessarily like that. Sometimes it took me a long time to do justice to a song. This happened to me, when I tryed to cover Lady Jane. All I have is my voice and my accoustic. After many attempts I found my version. The main challenge was to strip the arrangement down

Well, I just want to go back to the subject of the thread. 100 years ago is one of my favorite Stones tunes. It's a real great song. QuoteIrix 'Welcome to Shepherd's Bush' now listed on as well as , , , . Hm, I'm not sure but since it disapeared from Bravado, it doesn't apear on Amazon and there's no single word about it from the RS, may be it's the well known boot in a new dress... Though, it looks very promissing. We'll see.

Another great show. It's three years ago from September 21. The line-up has changed since then including drums. The venues she playes meanwhile are bigger. What a band!

I love to play and to listen music. Since I started listening to music when I was a teenager I'm looking for new music, that I like. About two weeks ago I discovered Sierra Ferrell and her music. And I have to say, that there are not many musicians, that thrilled me like she does. Except from that well known Band from London. The mixture of Bluegrass, Country, Gypsy and Pop is unique. And

This is not at all good news. To be honest, I'm hoping since 25 years for an official release of the 1999 London Club show at Shepherds Bush. Great show with an outstanding setlist.

These recordings are very interesting. They show the long way to go from rehearsals to the show to be played and performed.

QuoteJavadave A) The plural of vinyl is “vinyl” not “vinyls”. A “record” is what you play. “Vinyl” is the material they are made with. Somewhere, someone (probably some deejay with poor literacy) started calling records “vinyls”. The kids, whose parents had long ago abandoned playing records, had no other model and picked up and perpetuated this bastardized terminology. Thankfully, Mick

QuoteGasLightStreet GOATS HEAD SOUP super deluxe arrived today. Wow. Kinda wished I'd gotten SF, EOMS and SG super deluxes. They're all too expensive now. The books are fantastic. I suppose whatever super deluxe comes out this year I better get rather quickly! Sticky Fingers is a must because of Leeds. EOMS and SG aren't offering anything from may be a book.

This album is still one of my favorites. A classic Dtones album. I remember very well ir's release and the joy I had, listening to it again and again. Their last studio album with own compsitions, that counts. I was 34 years and playing theatre, having a real great lifetime!

QuoteJMARCOU The best sound for Urban Jungle Tour is without a doubt "seven of july" 2 CDs to date. Yes, for me too. The sound is dry and vompact. The stereo mix is great and every instrument can be heard clearly.

I liked this album from the very beginning. To me it sounded fresh, midern and dirty. The variation of styles and mood put in a frame holding them together. Mean Disposition is one of my favorites of the album. It's a great song, that can be played in different ways. I play one version with my accoustic not trying to imitate the original sound but taking the mood of the song. Weak songs brea

QuoteGasLightStreet The break is killer, the way it walks, especially when Mick gets going on the harmonica. Why this didn't make FLASHPOINT and the ridiculous Little Red Rooster did is a head shaker. Lame Clifford "harmonica" playing. Yes, it's realy fantastic. I was lucky to hear them playing it in Hannover in 1990 and I realy enjoyed it.
