QuoteTopi QuoteStonesfan2146 They didn't play arenas in 2021. Last time they played an arena was 2016 in Las Vegas. Only thing that came close to an arena last year was the hard rock Miami show, with an average ticket price of 500$+ Yeah, and their latest actual arena tour dates back to the spring/early summer of 2013. They used most of the old 50 and Counting Tongue Pit setup for a co

QuoteGerardHennessy Some people clearly fantasising for fun about what might happen next. But a lot of unrealistic rumour-mongering, and claims about inside information too. As someone who is also in his 70s and counting I'm astounded by some of the expectations written here. I'm not claiming to be as fit as Mick, or as road-hardened as Ronnie & Keith, but I'm in good shape

Quotethecitadel No tour later this year - if one was discussed it isn't any more. No tour in South America - you cannot get any profit out of some countries, even if you make some, which is unlikely. So Japan/Australia/NZ/somewhere else is one option for next year - they usually start there in March. The other option is the US/Canada. Timing like the original 2019 dates maybe as it

They were in the US a little over 8 months ago. We're all fans but I think it's a bit much to be calling for their return so soon when they have tens of millions of fans all around the World whose countries haven't had a show in years, notably the Pacific Rim and South America. The new stage may not be the prettiest, but it strikes me that it's clearly designed with ease o

Lyon, coming up... 30 or 40 degrees outside is a bad idea whether it's Fahrenheit or Centigrade! Very good GL . For very different reasons of course. I'm going to Lyon and worried. Scottish skin really, really isn't made for 41c/100F heat.

4 pages and not one solid rumour - impressive. When in London I heard chit chat from a number of sources that they want to do South America next year. Not as profitable as Europe or North America but without doubt the youngest and most lively and enthusiastic audiences in the World to play to which must be very energising for them. European and especially US audiences tend to be older and quieter

QuoteMisterDDDD My money would be on a potential NA spring tour, if they come this way again. They have tried several times to get a Jazz Fest show in, including last year. One venue left that I think they are determined to officially play. (JF- April 28 to May 7, 2023) Throw in Vancouver (which they owe a show) + a few Canadian cities.. there's no doubt the demand would be huge, fini

I very much doubt it. You had a mini tour less than a year ago and the previous mini tour was also in the US! The current tour differs little from last year bar the stage backdrop. It's also several years since they toured twice the same year. It's our turn over this side of the Atlantic now. They were last here 4 years ago. And no tour at all outside North America and Europe sin

I did Liverpool, London 1, Lyon and Paris, all enjoyed. With no Charlie any more, 4 shows is probably just about right for me. Looking forward to following this on here and hope everyone planning to attend is well aware of the very early 1945 start and turns up early. Band Member Health permitting, I'm expecting them to show up somewhere next year - perhaps South America or Pacific Rim.

Even as a Scotsman, I have to congratulate England on a well deserved win. And the Women's game in general for raising standards so much in such a short time to deliver an excellent tournament by all accounts. That winning goal celebration was only ever going to earn the Kelly lass a booking and she would have known that fine well the second she peeled her top off but she obviously decided i

QuoteHairball Mick sounded GREAT in Paris with a 19 song setlist, so he was able to bounce back from Lyon with it's 18 song setlist... Maybe he pushed himself too far in Paris and had a setback, or is saving himself as they quickly approach the finish line...only two more to go! Anyhow, must have been a special show for Mick tonight - his first as a 79 year old! He's incredible.....

QuoteHairball Down to 18 songs again... Unless the "Happy Birthday to Mick" sing-along counts as part of the setlist .. Well that's a bit mean! Charging a crowd €€€€€€ to see you and then expecting them to sing themselves As previously said, unlike Lyon which was enforced by the extreme conditions, this was planned in advance so someone clearly isn't feeling 100%

QuoteIsakSun At how many concerts have you been escorted into the arena? Does it occur at all? They tried to do it in Lyon though it was easy to slink away if given bad dips. I’m fairly sure they did it at the 3 Paris shows in 2017 because dippers were allowed to enter through their own special entrance near the LD desk without having to join the main queue. But it’s definitely the exception

Anyway aside from the crap venue, poor logistics, abysmal organisation, slow LD pickup, endless queue and 101 other complaints, I thought it was a very good performance, driven along by a resurgent Keith who looks happy, composed and confident, knowing he’s playing as well as he can. Keep it up big man!

QuoteSister Marie GA single lucky dip for me too, I heard the very good concert, but haven t seen anything. And about the organization how to say… worst one I have ever seen, only one entrance in the middle of the two announced… I could have sold easily my tix between the desk 1 to get my real ticket and the real entrance one hour queeing (again) after… This ruined my experience. Disappointed.

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack Closer to 100.000 than 50.000 i bet Not a chance. I estimate a similar crowd to Hyde Park so maybe 60,000. I was at the Malieveld show in The Hague in 1998 with 86,000 and last night was nothing like that.

GA for me, like nearly everyone else. And thanks to that ridiculous long and slow 1 hour+ queue, I was very limited for viewing spots so went off to the left and got one about 5 or 6 rows back, where I caught the odd glimpse of the band through phones, heads and waving arms. But that’s the luck of the draw. I was Pit B in Lyon after a bit of negotiation by my LD double ups partner. I didn’t see h

I went for a walk around the venue yesterday to check it out and get my bearings. Considering it’s in a major Capital City, it’s an absolutely ridiculously inaccessible place, at least 2 miles from the nearest metro station. Best to use by a mile is Boulogne Jean Jaures. It’s the nearest and involves a 20-25 minute walk through well lit streets to the main entrance to the venue, Entrance 2 on

If my very rusty French is accurate, according to the event guidance it appears that we’re only allowed to take in empty plastic bottles without lids so security will tip out any water and we have to then refill inside the venue???

Lucky Dip pickup for Paris starts at 5pm on Saturday, exactly the same time as doors open. There's a good chance they'll let us straight in without having to queue beside the people with normal tickets. That's what they did at all the U Arena shows in 2017 and many who got GA were able to score very good spots as long as they entered immediately.
