He's there every year without fail. Ronnie and Jimmy White have been close mates for decades. Being media friendly, Ronnie's always up for a quick chat with the BBC. I remember him there 6 years ago talking to my fellow Scot Hazel Irvine about Sally's forthcoming twins and preparations for the Stones' South American tour.

Quotewickerman QuoteTopi Sorry for st(r)aying off-topic, but with Springsteen it looks like he was supposed to announce the Europe tour on Nov 29, start ticket sales on Dec 3 but pulled out last minute. Word is he has also cancelled any US stadium holds he had for this year. (Source: BTX) So at the moment it doesn't look good. Will all due respect to the Boss, he is a very politically-o

QuoteGreen Lady I think a lot of people here are opting out of office parties and pub or restaurant outings so that they can safely visit family over Christmas. That's what I'm doing. Our office meal was meant to be today but it's off. Tomorrow I get my booster in Oxford, more than 20 miles away. But any port in a storm.

A good few weekend football matches are already off due to players testing positive. S**t times. And loud shouty maskless f###wits are not rare here either.

According to Ben, the Watts family asked that no pictures be taken, though there was an official photographer. Bill was there but didn't play. Ben also said the Stones played Down the Road apiece and Shame Shame Shame. He's being very respectful and circumspect about what he's sharing, as you would and should fully expect. Lots of well known faces there and I imagine other artis

That was a one-off train breakdown and nothing to do with the stadium itself - chances of that situation happening again are small. QuoteStoneage I remember growing up in the seventies that England never qualified for the World Cup (from 1970 to 1982). It was considered a strange thing at the time. But they have improved since then and with the exception of 1994 never missed a World Cup. I might be mistaking - but they seem to have been seeded in very easy qualification groups lately. Is that right? England failed to qual

Currently on a run of 6 consecutive wins, beating and completely outplaying Euro 2021 Semifinalists Denmark 2-0 in Glasgow last night.
