I think it's because they used the version of "Under My Thumb" from NJ on the "Still Life" album in 1982.

I will provide my feedback when I hear other people's opinions. As Homer Simpson told Bart: "never say anything until you are sure that most of the other people agree with you."

Mick on the Jimmy Fallon show was incredibly hard to watch. It was so unfunny and Mick was stilted in the delivery of his lines. Awful. I can't believe Mick agreed to do that crap.

Thanks for the download. When I started listening to this I knew when they said Mick was 81-years-old that fact checking was not important to the production. The interviewer, Tom Powers, is very smug and not as insightful as he thinks he is. For some reason I found the whole thing really annoying. Mick is very professional as usual but the interviewer is overly familiar with him and acts like he

I see that Amazon is delaying some shipments of the new album. I live in NJ USA. What chain stores still sell CDs? Barnes & Noble? Best Buy? Where can I buy it on Friday if Amazon is delayed?

I don't understand their working relationship with Jimmy Fallon. Does Mick think Jimmy is hip? Nobody I know watches his show and his child-like patronizing of all his guests is embarrassing. What do you think is the reason they keep throwing him bones?

QuoteTaylor1 When Nils wrote Keith Don’t go, was their consensus in the rock world Keith was in bad shape? I never knew people thought Keith was that bad off From 1972 to 1978 Keith was in really bad shape with heroin and widely considered a shoe in as being the next to end up in a casket. How he survived that period alone never mind the ensuing 50 years is nothing short of miraculous.

They have to be the worst dressed lot I've seen in a long time. Jerry Hall looks positively ghoulish, Anjelica Huston looks like a decaying, melted wax figure. Little tub Jade has seen better days, A bunch of no-name "royals," and no Keith, Bill or Mick Taylor. It looks like a positively dreadful evening.

QuoteStoneage QuoteSpodlumt Daryl Jones is not Mick's "bandmate." He is a paid sideman. For 30 years? His time in the band has now exceeded Bill Wyman's. Chuck Leavell has been a paid sideman for 41 years. They are not "band members."

I couldn't stop laughing reading the comments in this article about the "farewell tour" of a band WITH NO ORIGINAL MEMBERS. What a joke. Their "audience" has no idea who they are and don't care if any one of them doesn't show up for a show. They are going to see "Foreigner" and hear "Hot Blooded" no matter what hack is singing it or what

I love Nils Lofgren. He has made some great solo albums. But his voice in the last 30 or so years sounds nothing like he did in the 1970s and 1980s. And judging by this, it's getting even worse.

The author is obviously referring to Keith's autobiography when mistakenly quoting from "Mick Jagger's autobiography." Not good journalism. But then having to write something about a profoundly uninteresting person who's only accomplishment is having Keith Richards as her grandfather probably came with its own set of challenges. Dull article.

Was fired by Mick Jagger due to his backstage antics during the 1973 European Tour. He claimed in his memoir that he left the tour of his own volition to curtail his heroin addiction. As a result of his strained relationship with Jagger, Keys only guested on some shows of the 1975 and 1978 American tours, missing the 1976 European tour completely. In 1979, Keys was part of a Rolling Stones spi

I've said this before but "Fully Finished Outtakes" convinced me that "Dirty Work" could have been a good album. Add "Putty In Your Hands," "Strictly Memphis," and "Nobody's Perfect" and dump "Winning Ugly" "Hold Back" and "Too Rude"and it would have been a quite listenable record.

The last great album they made was "Tattoo You." The last decent one was "Steel Wheels." "Bridges To Babylon" and "A Bigger Bang" were unlistenable. I don't think the future holds anything to really anticipate. Especially without Charlie.
