I was looking at the photos of Mick, Keith and Ronnie from St. Louis and I thought to myself.... TEN YEARS FROM NOW, WE WILL ALL BE AMAZED AT HOW YOUNG THEY LOOKED BACK IN 2021!

I started this thread NOT to discuss stupid wokism. Being woke is for true losers. I was just thinking how absolutely amazing CRAZY MAMA is as a song - with a completely lame title and lyrics. Nothing more complicated than that!

I am going to nominate CRAZY MAMA. The music is so wonderful.... but the title has always seemed silly to me.

The real truth is, I bet The Rolling Stones will still sound good on this upcoming tour. It will surely be bittersweet. The end is near enough as it is... No one lives forever. It would actually be ridiculous for them to stop. It would also be ridiculous to continue. Since both decisions are ridiculous anyway.... They might as well just keep on rolling on.... We are still likely to get n

It's odd. I no longer own Hot Rocks. If I did, I would not play it. Yet reading your post, I am reminded that when I did buy it more than 40 years ago I thought it was the most amazing collection of music ever. I still won't play it. But it is still true - It is the most amazing of music ever.

The only explanation that I can come up with is that had Jagger released the song on itunes, maybe some embarrassingly low number of sales would have hurt his brand. I cannot cost too much to make a song available for sales in itunes, can it?

OK, I admit it. I am befuddled. How did The Rolling Stones allow 5o songs that could have been released as a box set for collectors escape? Heck, it could have been pared down to 20 songs a a kick-ass double album TATTOO YOU TWO, TATTOO TOO, SUCKING IN THE CENTURY. Or simply reworked as a single amazing fantastic fun album with 12 or 13 cuts (Please don't make me choose!) And then Sir

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE? AFTER THE EXTRA BONUS CD'S OF RECENT YEARS... How can such 'new' amazing stuff still be available? and in pristine condition! How is this possible? Do you realize that the bottom of the barrel of any Stones recording session is still great? Of course you do! We all do! Why did not the Stones simply release this to us? why? why? wh

BLUE ÖYSTER CULT and The Rolling Stones are my two favorite bands. In the past twenty years, neither has been prolific in the studio. That said, THE SYMBOL REMAINS is terrific. I love it!

I find it amusing that The Rolling Stones clearly liked this song. They sure played it live (a lot!) I always found it superfluous in concert. On the Voodoo Lounge it's alright... mostly forgettable. But for some reason, on the 10:58 version with Keith on lead vocals on Voodoo Lounge outtakes bootleg - it is one of my all-time favorites.... It goes on forever and I just love it! And w

It is seemingly impossible not to like GVF if you are a fan of early 1970's Led Zeppelin. I don't give a hoot how much these guys have 'borrowed' Zep's style and sound - they have done a great job. Love the music!

Quote24FPS Plus it was awkward to have two Micks in the band. As if it all matters now. Mick Taylor was simply the finest guitar player the Stones ever had. The Ramones made it work with Five Ramones in their band.

Quotefrankotero Yes, this and the next 5 tours. Isn't that what Mick said at the B2B tour press conference? It is exactly what was said and I remember thinking how ridiculous the comment was at the time.... I was wrong... Mick was right. UNREAL. I am very pleased that I was wrong!
