I agree with the premise that The Rolling Stones have been active in recent years... I can remember multi year droughts when they disappeared altogether... So in comparison to many other periods of their career, that have been very active

In the future I would like to see 'From the Vault" release: Rolling Stones Wrigley Field Chicago 2019 Now I realize that before this can be released, it will actually have to happen... But recently Wrigley Field has been hosting lots of concerts... A Rolling Stones concert in "the friendly confines" would be awesome!

You know what...The Yankees went on when Babe Ruth retired. Apple Computer went on after Steve Jobs passed away. Democratic Party went on after Hillary Clinton was beaten in 2016. America went on when the South succeeded, but not without a fight. Roseanne will go on without Roseanne (kinda) Earth went on after a

Is Bruce Springsteen charging $500 for a ticket? I think the Stones have many more millions of casual fans - fans that see a Rolling Stones concert as an event. Nowadays young people don't even own music, they stream it. The Stones play the songs they know the audience knows. I would love to see them play a concert with zero 'warhorses' (OK, they can throw in Gimme Shelter and YC

There is a small upside to the high ticket prices - and no one here on this thread has mentioned it. Although I enjoy telling people that I only paid $12.50 for a Rolling Stones ticket at Madison Square Garden in 1975, no one is talking about HOW DIFFICULT it was to secure a ticket. Sure, the ticket was $12.50, but lucky ticket holders felt like they won the lottery just to secure a ticket at any

It is clearly their best album release in over 10 years! OK, that was a bit snarky.... It would have been a great DISC 2 to a two-disc set.It is a very interesting release... what's next... a duets release a la Sinatra.... The truth is... that would be cool too. Just about anything the Stones do is interesting. They are basically incapable of doing something uninteresting. But unlike every

JUNE 25, 2013 Jagger drew a big reaction from the crowd at a Rolling Stones concert in Washington, D.C., Monday night after cracking, "I don't think President Obama is here tonight, but I'm sure he's listening in." The rock legend, who turns 70 next month, made the joke in between songs at the Verizon Center, the last destination on the U.S. leg of the band's

The Rolling Stones - always leaders in raising prices. If tickets were only $5.50 in 1972, they sure went higher quicker. Just three years later, when I saw them for the first time from the rafters at Madison Square Garden the prices had jumped to $12.50. It doesn't take a math genius to see that the prices more than doubled in three short years. And this was BEFORE the inflationary peri

QuoteHalfNanker QuoteHonkeyTonkFlash Quotemtaylor I guess it is a more recent trend that they (all bands) have to change set list every night. Then we can sit and comment on the Internet and tell our opinion, how boring they are. Despite considering that at least 95% of the audience in one city just sees the one and only concert, then they have to change all songs every night so that the I
