Which is worst? Rear General Admission or 3rd level on Keith's side?

We are all hardcore fans here, we just have different opinions on HD I think is their most cohesive album since Tattoo You, and coming from 80yr old guys with absolutely nothing to prove, makes it a better record than, let’s say, Undercover or Bridges. I didn't expect the album to be that good. I was afraid of Andy Watt’s involvement I admit. But I think the guy did a great job (his bass

Quotefloodonthepage QuoteBig Al I haven’t contributed very much to the Hackney Diamonds discussion, as I don’t believe I have anything particularly unique to say. I will refrain from offering a full-on review, here, but would like to say that I do think Hackney Diamonds is a relatively strong release. It does seem to me that it’s Andrew Watt’s production, and the overall sound, that the detractor

I love the riff, love the drums, and the lyrics The chorus is strange for a Stones song but it works wonderfully One of the best songs on HD

This could have been on Sticky Fingers Andrew Watt really got the vintage sound right.

This is the song I enjoy theleast on HD The stones doing punk are good while the guitars are cleaner (see "respectable") and much closer to "their" sound. Here's too much overdrive, modern-rock sounding guitars. McCartney adds practically nothing besides his very publicized fuzz bass solo. Very foo fighters kind of tune. Not my cup of tea.

I have my reservations about some artistic decisions on "mess it up"...catchy tune and all but ends in a dangerous place where it may sound like a Maroon 5 song with a Keef riff on it But the album is great, only song i skip is "Bite My Head Off"

QuoteMelBelli “Get Close” is a little more old-school. Keith comes up with three parts and Mick figures out what to do with them. Yeah, they usually work like that because the melody is pure Mick, the riff is unquestionably Keith's

QuoteMelBelli Quotekid killowatt Quotepowerage78 3 tracks and... Keith and Ronnie taking part in a Jagger album, that's quite something ! Get close is a pure Keith riff in open g IMO Sounds like it in the “Hold Back”/“Struggle”/“Too Tight” etc family of riffs. Yes, and he plays a tremendous bass line in "Angry" and his signature licks and a great solo. What Keith is doing

Love is Strong 2. Angry 3. You Got Me Rocking 4. Anybody Seen My Baby 5. Mixed Emotions 6. Out of Control 7. Don’t Stop 8. High wire 9. Almost Hear you Sigh 10. Saint of Me 11. Ghost

QuoteHairball Quotestanlove People who really like this song were going to like anything the Stones released just because it’s the Stones, 5 years from now everyone will admit that they have not bothered to play this song in about 5 years. Still can’t get the point of pushing this media blitz and then not releasing album for 6 weeks. You could be right, but then again it could be the opposit
