Rolling Stone Blues.....According to Keith, Andrew Watt took a 1920's guitar to Henson studios and "pushed" them to do a song "related to the band's name" Thanks, that sounds fun! An acoustic blues t

Quotedrewmaster I may have misheard what was said at the press conference, but it sounded like all the tracks on the album are from late 2022 onward? How is that possible if Charlie's drumming is featured on a couple of the tracks? Drew Mick said those are tracks recorded in 2019

QuoteStonedRambler Keith also has one song on the album. Maybe it's the usual Jazz Ballad Maybe not because he said it has a "good riff"

QuoteStonedRambler I'll tell you a secret. In 2023 in popular music barely anybody records guitar through a real tube amp anymore. They're all just using amp simulation plugins. Since this is produced by Andrew Watt, it can very well be that the guitar is just going through some Guitar Rig preset... Also, whoever played this - in modern pop productions everything gets time aligned (q

QuoteARB I imagine he likes it - this is pure Keith Solo intro: Steve on drums, then Keith enters with his riff (see: nearly every song on Main Offender + Almost Hear you Sigh + few on Talk is Cheap). I get the point, but is Mick who's playing that riff for sure...or Watt..I mean, it's too tight and polished to be Keith's

Quotetiffanyblu For me at least I know they have been working extremely long and hard with it. More effort than just a couple of songs. I will have that with me when I listen to it. That means a lot.

Quotepowerage78 Quotekid killowatt According to The Sun’s music industry insider: “The Stones are so proud of Hackney Diamonds and they cannot wait for their fans to hear it.” PROUD !!! No it's true?!!! In the middle of promoting an album, I expected the Stones to say that it was a bad album and fans would quickly forget about it! Unbelievable! Well, i've never heard from th

I don't like Andrew Watt's production of Iggy's last album. The rockers sound lame, 90's guitar rock sound......I hope Keith didn't let him do that kind of thing with his riff driven songs.

It all depends where are the Stones playing this time. If the concert it´s going to take place at River Plate stadium, then you´ll be more than happy staying at the usual well-known neighbourhoods like Barrio Norte, Recoleta, Belgrano and/or Palermo. It´s just a short cab trip to River Plate. But there are rumours of the Stones playing at the Estadio Unico in Plata; which is a town a little f

I agree, but have in mind that there is some kind of "signature" Steve Jordan snare drum sound that this time is not really that present. I like that sound (think of "Running Too Deep"), but some people get annoyed by that kind of sound. This time snare and cymbals are mork dark, organic, more Charlie Watts sounding (just to compare with a familiar sound for all of us)

Stop the BS. Production-wise the record is very good. I didn´t like what Jordan did with Jon Spencer; but this is goog.

I can live without "Blues in the morning" & "Crosseyed Heart" (the song) anyway. "Irene" is nice cover.....but for a single B-side
