It always perplexed me why the Stones would chose to make Come On their first single. As Chuck Berry covers go, this song always struck me as the weakest song. The Who By Numbers-An antithesis to the bombast of Quadrophenia By Numbers is bright sounding, but lyrically very dark (probably amongst the Who's darkest lyrics and that includes Entwistles Success Story).
