Really astute and noteworthy by you GLS. Hearing "tuneful noise", but "no idea what he's hearing" It's a state of being of where we're at today (musically, and I guess also in other life sphere's too) that is definitely frustrating to me. Great post.

QuoteJeter1984 Vivid Seats has Pit tickets for Cleveland at $790 all fees and taxes included. Jeter, thanks for the tip. Do you what this means (below)?: "Local Pickup, Customer Walk-in. Delivery day of show. Client will be met at venue and walked into the show by representative." They don't send an email link to your phone? Just never used Vivid before. Thank you again!

My story to share: I'm in the back seat of my daughter's car riding back home from a recent family event, her mother is in front passenger and my daughter's boyfriend riding back with me. Daughter's apple Play was queued in and everyone took a round at being DJ. Context here, my daughter (early 20's), her mother, and the boyfriend all endlessly enjoy the current pop count

QuoteElmo Lewis If y'all are complaining about this song, I'd like to hear some of the wonderful, earthshattering stuff you're writing and recording! Kinda a mix between "Hold On To Your Hat" and Ronnie's "Knock Your Teeth Out". Made me smile, I'm digging it! Paul's bass is Amanda Jonesish. Agree Elmo, don't get all the complainin

Paul Finebaum remarking (or what they should not release) on the Stones is the equivalent of the AI version of Barney the dinosaur advising Hélène Darroze on how to run one of her restaurants.

Quoteschillid When did this interview take place? Oct 11th I love when Keith/Howard exchange talks about the Satisfaction bass line underneath Keith's iconic riff. Keith very complimentary of Bill in that moment, sweet recognition of Wyman. I really love this interview, Howard an obvious fan as heard in his Let It Loose remarks, shtt, that almost made me tear up

Quotetoorude Is it only me who finds the HD merch not appealing? Not very tasteful, to say the least. Gone are times of embroidered tongue shirts and lapel pins.... A valid point, wish they'd take more cues to their more traditional designs. Last great designs for me were steel wheels / urban jungle. I would imagine, many folks here will have differing views (which I respect), but a lean o

QuoteAquamarine So, I'm interested in how "limited" all these limited editions are. They're all still available for sale (the ones you can buy in the US, anyway) which seems to mean not that limited . . . Compared to other bands' limited edition offerings, anyway. I agree Aqua, but I still took the bait I mean it has been 18 years

Big Al, 25x5 is definitely one my favorites, I too still have that old VHS! Agree, a must for younger folks entering the Stones universe for the first time BTW, this album is going to be an awesome renewal for the Stones enterprise I feel. From what I've heard thus far, the sonic textures and vibe is something they really focused on and crafted with a heavy purpose IMO. Can't wait t

QuoteGasLightStreet Based on my experiences with people getting and having cancer it's no surprise to me if Charlie's cancer came back. Perhaps that's the double whammy regarding it coming back, surgery, and then dying. Ok. Well, shit. That's that. And that's life. But to get to something Keith said a long time ago, and I forget the name/model of the automobile and

"if you wanna dance with Billy on the piano - you can" What a treasure this is! Worried about you, the raw sound on Hot Stuff, Hand of Fate, Tumbling really capture their sound of the times and why they're still today the lead for everyone else to follow in rock n'roll music/history. Of course my bias is blushing !!

I saw them this past Thursday in Louisville, KY (The Palace). Definitely a tight band, Charlie Starr is really impressive all the way around IMO.They played about two hours & twenty. My only knock is that their setlist could've rocked out a bit more - they really have a nice r'n'r sound/feel. I hope to see them again in the near future.

QuoteGazza LOL good point. Elvis' sessionographies have been very meticulously documented in books and online for decades. With basic fact checking being so easy, I couldnt believe he had the audacity to claim he played on a massive Elvis hit in Hollywood when he was 18. Especially when the guy who DID play on it is something of a legend on that instrument. he would have been 17 had

Any chance folks here could just have a simple, sincere appreciation for an act paying homage to an epic track originally laid down in 1969?? I always view this as great respect for what's come before. What nobody is supposed to cover The Rolling Stones? The greatest compliment in my view and why their relevancy remains unbelievably second to almost no one. This always warms up my Stone'

QuoteKRiffhard QuoteBig Al QuoteUGot2Rollme In so glad they played it in Detroit rather than LSTNT, because it does rock - Love Ronnies slide and Keith's solo is heavy - even Chuck adds some fire to it. I say keep it in on occasion. Yes, I agree. Whilst I prefer Let’s Spend the Night Together as a song, in a live setting, I feel You Got Me Rocking works better. Even when Keith flaps the

Agree with most everyone's comments regarding their energy. I was especially pleased with Keith and Ronnie's connection, they were very efficient, fluid and in sync in my view (for a live event - although I'm not a musician, so I miss many technical details I suppose- but for my ears, they we're on cloud 9!) I loved Keith's Connection- it played nicely for me. Rambler,
