Quotejohna QuoteStones50 QuoteRockinJive QuoteStones50 Well they should. It's their home! Esp NYC! Mad Sq Garden! Why is NYC their home? Nothing special about their fans there. I've been to MSG for a show. lame crowd. I've see better crows in Hershey, PA. besides Toronto in their home in N America. You could not be more wrong. I've been at EVERY MS Garden show since 1969.

Quote24FPS I've never seen them capture the excitement of Get Off of My Cloud since they started playing it again a few years back. Both times I heard it, 2005, and 2013 they play it like a waltz. The whole selling point of the song is the adrenaline frenzy. Face it, we ain't going to ever hear Live With Me performed like it was on Ya Yas. Where did you hear "Get Off of My Cloud&

[email protected] Does the 15 max include the fesitval? Since they are out there, would they do Vegas mid-October at T-Mobile was it was rumored they were talking with them? Would they then do another CA gig in between mid-week? That would then leave them 12 left. It would be safe to assume NYC area would get 2+ nights- maybe 4 max? Would PHL/BOS get 2 or just 1? That would leave on

QuoteHis Majesty Quotepeoplewitheyes Not to very too far from the topic, but when was the last time Charlie played an interesting beat on record. Almost everything I can think of from the last 25 years features the same pedestrian bass-snare-bass-bass-snare plod... (standing back to avoid the rotten tomatoes) I think his drumming got kinda ruined once they tried to take onboard that jitt

I would have to say the one I saw in Toronto on June 6, 2013 at the ACC. Both Bobby and Mick T's solos were great and went beyond the studio version. The one I saw in Buffalo last year was great too, but a bit more "paint by numbers," sticking close to the studio version. It always bugs me how Keith doesn't play the full intro riff from the studio version--same with JJF.

Quotekeefriffhard4life great work but look at this. 84 different songs played over 91 shows and the band is constantly working together 2015 the remaining members of the grateful dead got together to celebrate the bands 50th anniversary. they played just FIVE shows. all sold out to huge crowds Over the course of the five shows 81 different songs were performed not including "Dru

Great work, thanks! Shows that all of our setlist grumbling is somewhat unwarranted--84 different songs across 91 shows is pretty damn good imo. It's unrealistic to expect bordering on 50% rarities at anything but a club show. As others have said, the percentage of rarities of varying degrees at each show is probably pretty close to reflecting the percentage of the audience with a pre

Quotebitusa2012 All this talk about ABB on this thread... has me thinking. IF I was a, say 20yo, at the time of ABB release, and liking what I thought was rock and roll at the time, I think I would have thought, AT THE TIME, that ABB WAS a great record! For us, most of us, in our, uh hum, later years, having lived with and through the Stones late 60s, early 70s output, yes, we probably, indeed DO

Tonight I was reflecting on the two shows I saw this tour (Pittsburgh & Buffalo), and decided to make some spreadsheets to help me compare them with each other and my only other Stones show, June 6, 2013 in Toronto. It got me wondering which of these past three tours was the best, which shows have been the best, which versions of certain songs have been the best (Midnight Rambler for example

Quoteflacnvinyl I can't make it to Pittsburgh (too far away) but I am already jealous. We all know Pittsburgh always gets the best show of the tour, every time... Seriously?! That's great if you're right--we got our tickets on Friday and I was nervous Pittsburgh might not be a favorite destination for them. Figured Buffalo would be the better show since it's the pseudo-To

[email protected] While waiting for Buffalo to go on sale, what shows have other people purchased?Ithink so far I purchased Madonna and Shania Twain. Outside from us here, is it possible they will lose out to the casual fan who has committed summer budget to country acts, ampitheatre shows etc..... Those sound like they will be good shows. Waiting for Buffalo as well, and perhaps Quebec C
