Thanks, so the purported "Rotten Roll" as a BTMMR prototype remains uncirculated...assuming it really exists, not sure who the source for that was.

Quotehenrik87 Quotegotdablouse Haha...I wonder what uncicrculated stuff I could have scored if I'd recorded the Bondy rehearsal on my i.Phone! Probably only something from 2012. Rehearsals in aud. quality most often are not traded for something real interesting like missing shows from the 70s or early 80s. Really ? Glad I didn't risk it then not that it even crossed my mind (at Trab

QuotewinterThere's also the 10+ minute workout 'Rotten Roll' complete with percussion etc (which I've never ever understood why people say it became BTMMRun) which sounds like a cross between a less frantic WTWCDown or a slightly more energetic JMI. Hum...I remember the "Rotten Roll" title from old books but always assumed it was a mistitled track, "Munich Hil

I've always associated it with "The Way She Held Me Tight"/"Misty Roads" for some reason, probably because I first heard it on the same tape...that would have been a worthy inclusion too with "I need you", "Fiji Jim" and even "Everlasting is My Love".

Don Was certainly hasn't brought out the best in them, although maybe that's the best they could do, but he clearly worked well as a "go-between", the tale he tells on how he managed to get three Keith songs out of Mick for B2B is pretty interesting!

I wonder if "Librairie Nova" still exists, nearby Parallèles, that was a cool place too...and Doktor Stones' shop next to République ?

Oh no, that place is cool, lots of music books and you can flip through Stones' News and Record Collector, where else on earth can you do that? Besides if you're lucky you can bump into Nick Kent signing his book.

QuoteGazza QuoteBlackHat Given that there was talk about such an album coming out in 1999 I wonder if a running order or track listing was prepared. I don't think the age of the tracks comes into it. If a "new" album focussed on the Voodoo/B2B albums then the tracks would come from a four year period. So they would have a kind of unity. As long as they appear to have come from the

Thanks, podcast still available too (and until 03/2015 apparently!). Bertignac must have applied in 1982 when Mick wanted to kick out Ronnie according to Nick Kent. Since Telephone opened for the Stones at Auteuil in 1982 he must have been tipped off at the time. About that I remember Telephone complaining that their sound system had been sabotaged by the Stones, Mick himself as Aubert said &q

That 1999 album was supposedly due to be called "Memory Hotel". As long as the stuff they release is unknown they could easily make it pass for new stuff. VL is well know but nothing from B2B or ABB has leaked. In any case it can't be that good since they passed on it for the 2012 sessions. I think an EP in 2013 would do the job fine, it would remind them of their youth and t

Yes but while a bit better if you look at the SDH version made from the HDTV stream making the rounds as well, the same problem pops up when the camera catches the giant screen. Probably the codec struggling...Still these 720p streams (it seems 1080p was not used?) were great and we had a blast, even after several of us had been to Trabendo/mini-Trabendo/O2, got the full spectrum of 2012 Stones l

Who cares about these friggin' awards anyway? Like they mean anything... As for Led Zep, yeah they were big sellers in the 70s and have a couple of decent albums to their name, maybe three, but the fact that their mastermind has done absolutely nothing of interest since, hum...1975...does raise a few questions.

I can't believe we're discussing a "last show" again, this is beyond ridiculous, they've said repeatedly that they would NEVER play that card. It will be finished the day one of the "core 3" is gone...

Came here after finding out a bout the "slide" version in teagueraw's latest outtakes reworks. I'd never noticed the difference between the CYWOTW version (no slide) and the "Fast Talking" version ? I went back to it and the slide is indeed there but very faint so the "vancouver" version would have to be a new mix. It does sound like Taylor to me, in
