I wonder how this changes so often. Been to many shows where the sound was too low, really! And that's not good for a Stonesgig!!

And isn't this the first time (apart from small Stoned scene)that the Stones/mainly Keith have been played in their privaty in a film ?!

Yes, of course but it is hard to play Mick offstage! But the Keith parts are very good indeed! Like doing powders in the limo with cops riding around them.

At the end most of the time it's just noise! Wonder whether there was ever a Stonesgig with great clear sound at the end !?!

Essen 1970. The gig is on a well known bootleg. I was very young and don't remember much from the concert. More from the surroundings!

Don't know whether this was posted before. Yesterday I watched German movie "The wild life" on Dvd. It's about German model Uschi Obermaiers "High"life. One of her 2 books had been picturized lately. She was a beautifully looking girl and well known at least in Germany. In the 60/ 70's she first lived in a left-wing commune in Berlin. Than was modeling and

I liked his Gimme Shelter moves from 73! Btw in former times Mick used to do new moves at every new tour. There were still great new moves during BtB. But I'm not sure for Licks and BB.

Somewhere I even read the story behind this shot. But forgot where. Still have 77 in my mind. But yes the jacket is from 76/Knebw. times.

And I really hope they show the best from both gigs! Not embazzle great songs as Faraway eyes versus Shine a light Connection v. Little T &A or Undercover v. Some Girls ! The same was with Paradiso/Adam. They plaed some great stuff that never was off. released. They were in great form at those 95 clubgigs! Some of the best things in their can!

Concerning the song-list this last European part of ABB tour was quite a disappointment to me ! I hoped for some more changes and 1 or 2 new ones from BB album. But they often seemed a bit tired to me and no real surprises. So I doubt there will be much going on in London. Perhaps at least one new surprising song !?! Nevertheless I'm still considering flying to London for 3. gig. Mayb

Yes, Queenie, you're right. But I knew there was a brother and son Dunn. So now in the pictures are the brothers but there is a son, too! Now we got it . .

I think it's the 2 Dunns! Alan Dunn workes for them and first Jones/Jagger since 67/68. Personal assistant, logistic man. These days he's on top of the game. Arnold Dunn (forgot whether brother or son) was doing much Mobile work.Later Roadmanager.

I wanted to ask this already: Are there Bonus-songs on those new DVD's (partly in metal-box)? In Germany there was nothing written on the covers. And I don't want to buy the same thing for the 4th time.

These days they don't get mobbed no more. They are well guarded and have a lot of privaty now(for being world-stars). Some photos and handshakes are all part of the tour-game. No problem I'd think.

As a YaYa's addict I'd love to hear about it! One of my dreams would be a complete 69 concert. But I think rest of the recorded songs are gone. Just like Midnight Rambler from Gimme Shelter movie tapes has been lost.

I think it is the story like H.Dog told it. Ian Steward called the Faces in the studio and asked for Ronnie. He got Ronnie Lane instead of Wood. And Lane said Wood would have no interest in joining the Stones. Wood didn't know about the call at that time. (That's like the story goes . .)

There has been so many Keith stuff over the years. Particularly during the last 10 years there have been many collaborations. Like for G. Parson tribut/Norah jones/Willie Nelson,etc.etc. I wonder whether someone got most of that stuff (+other Stonesrelated things?) on CD's ?! Would love to trade with them !

oh may, really looking forward for this one! If only the Stones would have been that open-minded for bringin out more stuff in their primetime!

Yes, "Spiegel" had to give in. Nevertheless they do some pre-recorded /synthesized things like on SFTD, PIB or Ruby Tuesday but of course most of the playin is still live. And after seeing Keith it would be quite stupid to contradict that !lol

I wonder as well - when and where could you buy these tapes officially? I'd love to hear this stuff! Especially the KBF live tapes! Even my old german vinyl of Exile blows away all those CD's. It's a pity the Stones don't show more interest in bringing out their great classic stuff in best possible quality!

Is there really a record with both Little Feat and Bonnie R. ?! And I also liked the singles of that 60's band Love Affair: Everlasting Love and Rainboy Valley. A bit pathetic sound - but I like it !! At the moment listening to"Swayed in Glasgow" August 25,2006. Incl.nice versions of She's so cold and Sway! As it was a local radio broadcast (presumable), sound and mix o

In Düsseldorf was the same. His hands didn't work on some numbers.Espec.on Got me rockin . And I'm the last to tell keith what to do. It's absoltutely ok with me but I'm a bit sad and unsatisfied these days. Get yourself some boots. You can't hardly listen to them no more. but if it's good for others thats fine to me!! It's just my personal observations

I don't expect much really! The real good moments he won't remember! LOL And to me - if a 60-70 years old tells stories from his young days it's mostly too grandfatherlike and everything is mellowed. But perhaps Keith surprises me one last time . .
