Everyone talks about overdubs in live material. A few days after the Rio Show it was shown in movie theaters around the country (maybe even the world). I doubt the Stones had time to go into the studio and do re-recording. The sound was very good (except the volume was too low for the first few songs, but I think that was a theater problem).
