Outraged Tony Visconti walks out of Rolling Stones gig before the band plays, and it’s partly thanks to Questlove's DJ set By Stuart Williams published about 12 hours ago “I saw the Stones so many times back in the day with a better line up, even one gig with Brian Jones and Bill Wyman”, Visconti told his fans on social media You might have heard, The Rolling Stones are back wi

Quotethecitadel There were at least 6 of us who post to IORR at the show. I won't post the names. I wrote the review you can find on IORR. Link here: The first Club show I've seen - it was really a private party for the record company. Also my first show where phones, even my Apple watch, were removed and sealed away - hence the few photos and no recordings. Maybe some will emerg

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteScooby Does Klein’s company still own the rights to recordings from back then? If there were any unreleased gems you can bet ABKCO would have released them a long time ago. We heard the brilliant She's Doing Her Thing from the Fully Finished Studio Outtakes. Blood Red Wine as well I'm sure there are others. I'm A Country Boy springs to mind.

Thanks you all. I get a better picture of the New Barbarians, intesting insights Short-time project... Commercial, and a bit cynical too, however with interesting results Not to compare with the X-Pensive Winos. Yes, again quoting Bobby Keys, Ronnie was supposed to be the leader. He managed the NB to have a permanent base during half of the tour (was it related to Playboy? ). They would

I have mixed feelings about the New Barbarians. My first hearing was a messy bootleeg, with a cranky singer (Ronnie, I guess) and some lousy Stones songs, however played by Richards and Wood themselves. And how did they come to hire Stanley Clarke, who I thought was in the league of Billy Cobham’s jazz rock ? By all means, the First Barbarians made me a stronger impression, but it’s fair to say

It was playing on my sound system that runs through my entire house and the speaker I was closest to for some reason favored the drums and bass. Quote1963luca0 Honestly, I find the video offensive. A young blonde woman ‘used’ for what? Is a young lady excited by the music by people in their 80’s something good? If so, why? What the sense in non play Brown Sugar live and have this video available to very young kids via accessible media? Don’t get me wrong, but I don’t have to approve anything the band does, IMO Come on It's the

Bob Dylan - Don't Fall Apart on Me Tonight Mick Taylor has barely 20 seconds to play toward the end of the song, and it's covered by the harmonica The Stones left him much more space I wished Dylan had left more room for the other musicians.
