QuoteFrogSugar Regarding the heat, I doubt cancellation is in the air. More than likely the band will have some sort of on-stage air-conditioners, mist machines, etc. to keep things manageable during the show. And the concession stands will be thrilled at all the 10€ beers that they're gonna be able to sell. Beer is the very worst thing you can drink in that heat. Dehydrates people ev

Quotehockenheim95 QuoteGreen Lady Doesn't look as though they have the two extra side screens this time. They have! You can see them in both pictures! Agreed. i see them too, They are low down and face off to the side so that the restricted view people can see them. Good touch.

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack I hate to be the one who brings it up, but 40 degrees on tuesday… not Sure this is a great idea I already mentioned it on Monday if you look up. I totally agree with you. I’m travelling to the show from the U.K. Rolling Stones aged nearly 80 performing a high energy 2 hour show has to be very risky. So too for the audience, many of whom have will queue all day in the s

QuoteHairball Looking forward to the Rolling Stones 100th anniversary show done virtually ABBA style. 2062...I'll be 99 yrs. old...let the countdown begin. I’ll be on the front row next to you as a mere youngster of 95 I always thought the ABBA avatar thing set quite a precedent and someone’s bound to follow suit sooner or later. The Beatles could make a mint out of it. And what ab

Also willing to team up with another Lucky Dipper and pick the better pair, before selling on the poorer pair. 50GBP/57EUR, which is what I paid for them.

QuoteStonesSmeth99 Hoping there's no compromise on the length of the set but acknowledge health comes first. Does look extremely hot. Think they came on at 10pm in Marseille 4 years ago (not due to the heat, just that kinda place) so maybe a late start is possible in Lyon. Health comes first for both the elderly artists and their audience. Hopefully the local authorities are watching the

Quotegotdablouse Yeah, grim prospect...especially since that area is known to be generally very HOT...Well at least they can have giant fans around the stage, for the crowd it's not an option. It will be my 1st ever visit to the area and I wasn’t aware of the hot climate. I hope they at least give out water to the crowd. 40c will be brutal. The ironic thing about fans is that they only ben

The weather forecast for this show is currently 38c/100F and you have to question the wisdom of men in their late 70s performing a high energy 2 hour show in those conditions. I can see a shortened show with a lot less moving around - as was the case in Budapest in 2007. I’m lucky dipping this one and have a spare for anyone interested.

QuoteNashvilleBlues QuoteMunichhilton Quotequietbeatle Liam Gallagher is the last rock star. He gave no @#$%& and never pandered to the audience or to the press. He too had a rough upbringing but didn't choose to coward it away with heroin. He has a very English/Irish sense of humor that Lanegan and Neil Young probably just didn't understand and took it as slagging them off. His voi

QuoteBig Al I attended Oasis’ final U.K. show at Wembley Stadium: beer, cocaine and sheer madness. Utterly wasted and mad for it. Liam and Oasis weren’t too bad, either. Cheers I was there too and that wasn’t my experience of the occasion at all, though it certainly was when I previously saw them at the old Wembley in 2000, shortly before they knocked it down. That show was on Sunday 12th

Quoteartedm Hi Gregor I understand your point hopefully we can agree: in 2013 show had 65,000 people in 2022 had 65,000 people Someone paid £95 to be in the very back in 2013 and in 2022 someone paid £95 to be in the very back. No price increased. All true. But in 2013 you could CHOOSE to be at the very front for £95. In 2022 the same choice was not available for £95 due to the ridic

Quoteartedm The Rolling Stones concert in Hyde Park sold out in five minutes, despite fan concerns over ticket prices. The 65,000 tickets went within minutes of being put on general release . AEG Live promoter Rob Hallett said the response had been incredible. He said: "We sold 65,000 tickets in the speed the system could handle it. If the system could handle it in seconds, we would have pro

Quoteartedm The Band is doing great playing big places to keep ticket prices low. I can't agree with someone who says £95.75 is "heavy" in 2022. Go back to 2013 last Hyde park was $117 in 2013 Don't forget about $1,500 Tongue Pit's in 2013 You're not comparing like with like. in 2013, a £105 ticket could get you right to the front on Ronnie's sid

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Quoterlstone Just picked them up, worst seats in the house.. 426. Erwin just told me . Don't despair. Make your way down to the ground floor concourse and sniff around for opportunities to get onto the floor. GA shouldn't be too hard to get. And be prepared for a knockback or 3. I did it in Cardiff in 2018 after getting a crappy nosebleed and made 2nd row w

QuoteThe Worst. The Diamond Pit area was quite large, certainly bigger than the pit concept we've been used to from No Filter tours. Not so exclusive, in other words. At Hyde Park 2 I arrived about 18:00 and found a good spot not too far from the catwalk and stage. At this point, many people were relaxing in comfortable chairs, drinking champagne in the VIP Summer Garden or whatever it'

QuoteStonedRambler Sure, but that isn't something that started yesterday. Promoters always have squeezed everything possible out of ticket prices. Actually Hyde Park was one of the cheapest gigs where you could get to first row with a 250 pounds GC ticket. Still way too much for what it was, Imho. GC was huge in Hyde Park. I was there for the 1st show and got my ticket for just over half

QuoteHairball QuoteMabru They stopped with the songvotes during this tour? Only the first shows (except Liverpool) had it. So I am curious if Amsterdam still gets one because there was one for the original show Seems to be the case. This entire mini-tour has been a bit unorthodox with Mick getting sick, Sasha missing a show, not to mention the long 11 day break between Liverpool and Milan, a

QuoteOriongalaxy Are you sure the entrance for Gold circle East is Southern entrance? Yes - South and slightly to the East. If in doubt, ask security. They were helpful last week. If you start queueing now, you should still get a good spot. I was in Gold Circle East last week, joined the queue at noon and made front row.
