Quotebv For those who do not understand how this works... OSLO tickets for The Rolling Stones are still available here: You order two tickets at the special price of N. kr. 550 each, which is the cost of five beers in Norway. A bargain. Same as 65 Euro. Just click the link and buy the tickets. Friends I have been talking to never visit RS.com. Or IORR.org. They don't know about

QuoteErik_Snow I hope BV has some good salmon slices in his garden-party, because I really like those things. In either case, it would be nice to agree on a gathering-place before the Oslo concert That would be good :-) I'm going to queue from dead early with my (full priced ) GA ticket and hope to get on the rail for the B-Stage.

Standing in norwegian is GA, not seats. Thanks for that DP. That means I've been stung for >£60 GBP. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!! All ticket categories are now available again via the normal website so I just wonder how 'sold out' it really was when it was plastered all over the media..

Quotebv The show sold out in 13 minutes. Because customer had a 15 minutes holding timeout on tickets, like me, just playing around with ticket orders, there were released a few tickets after 09:13, but the lot was allocated in 13 minutes. Pretty fast, and I could actually see that most of the good tickets went in 5 minutes, then people started to take the floor, and like 13 minutes past nine it

QuoteThommie QuoteMRambler QuoteWitness I received my ticket quite early. Now I read that some posters know which side their Golden circle tickets are on. The "Ordersammanfattning" in my case only says "Onumrerad(e) (1 biljett) Golden circle ståplats". But not which side is on or other details. What is possibly the difference? GATE H = Keith's side, GATE

Still not been sent an email of my e-ticket by them - does that come later, does anyone know ?

Quotepaulywaul Quotegotdablouse Yep, quite the ordeal... It was off to a bad start from the beginning : "Confusion over Hyde Park "Seating Chart" with the whole T1/T2 - DC/GC mess And the ticket deliveries : "AEG Ticket Chaos for Rolling Stones at Hyde Park " " Indeed, these are the two most relevant threads for the issues that dominated a lot of peoples&#

Nate, Absolutely hundreds, if not thousands of people, including myself. There was a lengthy thread about it at the time. PaulyWaul will no doubt point you in the right direction! I was at both shows. I received my ticket for the 13th OK but had to collect for the 6th and only found out I was able to do so via this message board. I concur - it was an absolutely disgraceful shambles

These pre-sales are a pain in the arse and not a small bit discriminatory. Hope there's GC left for Friday... GC looks quite small so showing up early and waiting with a GA might not be too bad. Also tempted to try for Oslo but I'm told the acoustics at the Telenor are grim.

Has anyone seen any concerts by other artists at this venue ? What are the acoustics like there ? I'm strongly considering coming across (from UK) for my 1st ever visit to Sweden. I thought about Roskilde but don't fancy waiting up all day for FoS. Last Year I waited up all night for HP1 (alone!) and from 8am for HP2 with friends. In past tours they've tended to play at the Ul

QuoteLady Jayne Enjoy! As well as the Stones, Berlin is a fantastic city to spend some time in. Try and stay long enough to explore a little. I would echo that. I saw the Licks gig there in 2003 at the Olympic Stadium. My 1st visit to a terrific city.

Bastion, I had all of those same feelings when, aged 23, I saw them at Wembley on the 2nd last night of the Urban Jungle Tour in August 1990. I told myself to savour every second as I 'knew' it was their last tour and I wanted it to be special. My ticeket was £23 and I've still got it. Thankfully I was wrong. I've now seen them 18 times I was both Hyde Park shows

For some reason, this makes me feel deeply sad.I got a a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I read the news on the bbc site. Depression is just horrible - I'm no stranger to it and have been to some dark places but have got through it every time. As soon as you are in a spiral of negative thinking, it feeds on itself and is hard to stop. It is important to ask for and accept he

QuoteDreamer Not just Start Me Up as the first song but as they did it in their comeback tour of 1989/1990 especially with Continental Drift as the intro to that plus the fireworks just before Keith's famous chords... That combination after WW3 absolutely did it for me; such a thrill and some sort of a revenge to all who thought it was over. And yeah, Under My Thumb in 81/82 sounded very f

QuoteRollingFreak They opened with Its Only Rock And Roll when I saw them in 06. I guess it makes sense in message, but it was also kind of weird because it doesn't have this incredibly memorable riff or really start the show off with a bang. The show just kind of... starts. Which is cool in itself, but I was scratching my head not expecting that one when I saw them. I have to say that is

Quotegeordiestone When they played here in 90 i was 16 and right in the middle of my exams. But i got to see them at wembley in 95 which was perfect as my other favourite band The Black Crowes supported them (although they went down like a led balloon on the day). I went to Edinburgh on an organised coach trip and was disappointed to be given a ticket for the seats. I was looking right down on th

QuoteHouseBoyKnows I was there for both shows with a contingent of Philly area friends. They really were great shows. Molly Hatchet was the opener. The sound was fantastic if you were within the first third of the floor from the stage, but anything further out was subject to the horrible cavernous stadium echo. It was a real party weekend during the Thanksgiving break. Driving back to Phil

QuoteBastion Leave us geordies alone I actually like you Geordies, most especially your humour The ones I refer to were impeccably behaved. The idiots causing trouble came from elsewhere (my home town I'm told - their accents sounded about right). Newcastle being so close to Edinburgh means that lots of you probably come North for gigs. IIRC the Stones haven't done Newcastle sin

Quotegeordiestone It looked to be kicking off big time down the front that night, was a great show though. It most certainly did geordiestone! A wild-eyed bunch of mostly lads pushed their way up front at the last minute, intimidating those around them. They were guzzling vodka and popping pills. They were like the Cast from Trainspotting. I've since heard they came from Hamilton, my home
