Quoteash Don't like the choir at all. Wish there was a mix available without it.Pretty much ruins a classic as far as I'm concerned. there is an official version without the choir on Collector's Only (German release I think) appreciated the chorale on the Zip Code tour (& 50th tour)...but in general i don't have strong feelings either way.

Matt..I don't want to hijack your thread but i'm guessing you would know if anything like this supposed Satanic Majesties "promo" is legitimate. Thanks.

Quoteexilestones Never heard of it. I take an interest in everything Satanic Majesties. Is there a catalog number or ebay link? Try to get the catalog number. ebay auction is over. i've posted all known info and pics. i shared this on the "Tell ME" side of IORR too...and the most seem to think the original album cover has been taken apart and reconfigured. But let me kno

Quote1963luca0 Looks like somehow re-worked. If I can see the details correctly, the spine is preserved and looks the usual one of the gate-fold covers. Any more picture available? Luca Luca - while it was for sale...i sent seller a question asking if it was a gatefold (folded backwards) or if it was somehow disassembled and reconfigured. only response was that it was not a gatefold and only

Ran across this item on eBay. Not sure if it's legit. I've never seen one before. Picture which is normally inside gatefold is used as cover. Described as NOT GATEFOLD. Just 2-sided (front & back). My first thought was that it was a normal gatefold folded backwards to deceive. Or that somehow the normal album cover was disassembled, cut and reassembled. (??) Or

QuoteBeforeTheyMakeMeRun So the Stones are PBS-worth now... Stones have been featured on PBS many times...mostly during fundraising periods. The '98 St. Louis PPV show, the Muddy Waters Checkerboard Lounge show, the T.A.M.I. show etc... So..nothing new there.

okay...i've already given my opinion about Steel Wheels...but for some reason i feel the need to defend Dirty Work. I know it's popular here (IORR) to bash Dirty Work and say it's their worst album etc...but it's not bad. I think many people go along with saying it sucked because they don't want to be in the minority. yes, we all have opinions and all are valid. maybe

Sad Sad Sad: lyrically lame but ok. Something other than the words "sad sad sad" would've made it better. high energy song for tour. Mixed Emotions: lyrically lame. Usually Mick can take Keith's lyrics and improve. Liked the video better than the song. Terrifying: Mick with is rhyming dictionary again. Don't hate it. I like it because it's not typical

Wasn't at all expecting it to be a COMPLETE life story documentary. I think lots of the stuff HERECOMESRICHARD expected has already been shown in Stones docs etc... This was a nice film about an aging man/musician...his musical experiences...and where he is today. I assume the clips of Keith visiting Chess Studios & Grand Ol' Opry theater etc... were done during the Zip Code

just got mine from amazon for $10 US. had only seen the HTW clip before...so i didn't know exactly what to expect. looked like something happened to expose the film...like a camera with a light leak or something. appears yellowish orange on right side of image. interesting when mick does the math...saying that the band didn't make much $ doing shows back then.

QuoteTurner68 QuoteBrownSugar1980 The only other one I can think of is Let It Bleed, which was originally titled Automatic Changer. i feel like the history of the band would have been completely different if they had stuck with that (horrible) title.. nah. obviously makes more literal sense assuming same album art. album names dont change history.

I enjoyed the whole Milwaukee scene. The announcement & build-up. The fact that it was smallest venue. Fans flooding into my city. Meeting a few IORRians. Excellent INSPIRED show. Glad we got to see Heartbreaker, Champ & Reefer, Moonlight Mile and Can't You Hear Me Knockin' all in the same setlist. Only regret...settling for $280 seats instead of going for the $420

Was just there last week. I kept my expectations low. Muddy Jaggrich is right..not much memorabilia. I didn't know that it previously had more. My BBQ chicken was good. Stuff may have been removed for use in Exhibitionism or ?? Anyway..my 6 yr old daughter snapped these pics of me in front of Chelsea Drugstore (McDonalds) and inside Sticky Fingers.
