If shows are actually re-scheduled in 2019 and they are move to last summer/early fall...Woodstock 50? Lang took a lot of criticism for the line-up. Could see him going back again to Stones Management with a huge offer to play

QuoteWoz > Is there any chance that the later dates (NJ for example) will remain unchanged? < No, the announcement seems clear on that point. Yup. If they actually do attempt to re-scheduled these shows for 2019 it will be impossible to recreate the itinerary (cities and/or venues) as it is now, due to as others noted, NFL and NCAA football games. Due to load in/out time requirements

a day after the article comes out about financial and logistical issues. Billboard reports the following: A number of artists performing at Woodstock 50 in Watkins Glen, New York have been paid in full after a brief delay and rumors that the anniversary event was in financial trouble. With the deposits now paid, the lineup for the festival will likely be announced in the next two weeks, Bil

They had decades to plan the 50th anniversary, and looks like it is going down as a bust. Obviously the relationship between Lang and Live Nation fell apart thus the, now, dueling events.

QuoteKeefy QuoteTopi Quotetimbernardis So, when do any of you think the announcement will be made? No one has talked much about that for a few pages. plexi Some are saying Friday, then again a couple of the venues have hinted next week. Friday not traditionally the greatest day for press releases. Lately the Stones have been announcing their tours early on the week (Mon-Wed), if I

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotedjrambler Everyone take a step back - unless I've missed some new info, there's no indication in the rumors going around that there will be any arena shows on this tour. I think there's been a few tongues spotted around the city, not just near Barclays. If the Stones add any shows in NY, they would likely just tack on another show at Metlife. Step taken.

Quotesnoopy2 QuoteDonnebr I hope your right about Philadelphia It hit the solid rumor list Glad I was wrong about Miami, but I'm still sticking with D.C. and Phoenix for my final 2 bet if they go to 16 (with 2 shows in Chicago) tho Canada would be awesome I say NO to DC, Phoenix and Vancouver With any additional shows coming from within the "tagged" cities that showed up

QuoteChris Fountain No Tongues yet. Some will have "Shelter from the Storm"! Tongues most likely will be there for next home U Miami or Dolphins game. Well if they are playing Miami and the tour is announced in the next week as it seems, there won't be a Dolphins or Hurricanes games this weekend (or 2 weekends for the Dolphins)

I am wondering, knowing how tough and tight NFL is with promotions that are not sanctioned directly by them. that the "banner hanging outside a Stadium" idea (if that was actually going to be there marketing strategy) was nixed by the NFL after the fact with Denver

Anyone know an active (and informative) GD/Dead & Company forum (like IORR, BTX for Springsteen, Expecting Rain for Dylan, etc) where I can try to get more intel on the possibility of this tour happening? I have searched around, but most are very dormant. With the longtime, rapid fanbase for GD, there must be "one" out there, but I can't find it We are in Europe the end of A

Quote35love *Congrats! Glad you got in w/ good tix- does it actually say in writing the RS are playing again this 2nd weekend? I read somewhere the bands stay in Vegas, then fly into the desert there for the gig- maybe RS play Vegas in between? From Billboard: "Due to demand, a second weekend has been added to the inaugural Desert Trip festival with the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Pa

Quote1badgator Just got into W1, lots of seats available end of grandstand $999, I just can't do it. At least 100-200 open seats on left and right sides. Over 90% unsold last 2 sections, they might be releasing more tix. I'm going to keep trying for GA W2 anyhow. How about the Premium Floor seating for W1? any idea what is left?

I think I am Step Box 17 out of 50(?) after an 1hr:20m for W1 It is a battle of will (and boredom) at this point. The walking man needs to eat or go to the bathroom soon.
