Keith is fine and still can say everything he wants to with power chords, timing and riffs. No need to worry.

This is awesome. No need to worry about band's performance and power. They still have it all.

Quotegotdablouse Thanks for the reports and videos ! About to listen to the Dime recording now. Keith's solo was pretty good on "Sad, Sad, Sad" but he appears to be less and less mobile...during SFM he even looks completely dazed at times in Christiaan's video :-( Keith is fine. Don't search for things that aren't happening. Solid performance especially for the fi

Keith's solo on sympathy based on YouTube recording was OK, except for the first part where were some strange notes. No big issue. QuoteTeaAtThree Filstan, I was on that same Chess records tour at the 2:00 hour! Very cool. Agree with the review, the guitar sound was impressive. I felt like I could really hear Ronnie's contributions better than any show I had ever seen -- though

Very true Quotebv Even if some does not like a certain Stones song, it does not mean everyone else share that same "dislike". I mean even if you don't like red wine, they are not supposed to stop selling red wine in general. Others like it. Many others. Same with Miss You, Mixed Emotions, Sad Sad Sad, You Got Me Rocking, Mercy Mercy and other songs. Some like them, some love t

Thank you for info. Unfortunately I haven't got turntable and even if I have, that box would be too expensive for me. So I do not have access to that version, unfortunately. It would be great to hear less compressed A Bigger Bang, especially first three songs are ruined by compression. QuoteSpud Quotejumpingjackflash5 Yes, I mostly prefer the older ones. Yes, I mostly prefer the older ones. A Bigger Bang unfortunately was also "hot" mastered. Here versions with good dynamic range do not exist.

Unfortunately, compressed mastering sounds just wrong. They can make radio mix or whatever, but the standard CDs should be in Virgin mastering style (1990s). I think that 40 Licks still has decent dynamic range on most songs. I do not like the new mastering with compression at all ....

Good News. Now Mick should take his time to fully recover. We shall wait as long as needed - no need to hurry up with the tour. Health comes first! And then when everything is OK, Stones can rock again.

I fully agree. Before all, Mick must be medically ok and feeling good to start thinking about the tour. If it happens it would be great, anytime. If not, we had a lot recent years and ought to be thankful for that. Get well, Mick.

I have no insider info but from what we know we can say with decent probability It is not an injury from rehearsals, since it would be manageable within 4-8 weeks and it would not be a problem to disclose it to the media. Also some shows with e.g. limited movement (no running) could be possible. It is probably something that requires further observation or even medical intervention. It ai

I have no problems with Gomper. Decent song, appropriate for the time when it was recorded. Just the "wah wah" sound is too repetitive.

QuoteRocky Dijon Here's a couple: Might be listening bias but sounds better to me that edited digital sound on the album.

Unfortunately, whole A Bigger Bang is overproduced and digitally overedited. I would love to hear majority of the songs in this album at the original studio recording - mixed, but not overedited and made artificial sound. First 4 songs on the record are typical in this area. Also e.g. Driving too fast - great song, but totally overproduced sound.
