A personal favorite album indeed. Loved everything about it, and remember fondly that time when the Voodoo Lounge tour was over and the band was so tight. I think that time doesn't do justice to this one and nowadays it seems to be a bit overlooked. It's probably my favorite LIVE album after Ya-Ya's, go figure! lol...

^ I never took the "England's Newest Hitmakers" as "true" album title ... more something like Decca came up with after the album was fully assembled. That album is simply titled "The Rolling Stones" in my book.

I have a "Let It Bleed - Mono Mix" on bootleg CD. Bougth many years ago out of curiosity, as lots of folks were raving about the different, punchier sound. Well, the "punch" might have gone missing when transferred to CD, and I just can't spot any significant revelation in sound.
