So, show number 4 is slated to begin within the next half hour. Unfortunately I won't be seeing tomorrow's show until Sunday afternoon (how great is Moogis!?!?!?!?) because I promised the wife that I'd spend the day and evening with her (women ). For those that are interested, I'll let you know if anything spectacular happens. Up until now they've played virtually all

Just a reminder that night 3 at the Beacon begins in ca. one and a half hours. If anything spectacular or out-of-the-ordinary happens, I'll be sure to inform you all. Guest rumors for this evening include Boz Scaggs and Bonnie Bramlett. Jordistones: That's some cool stuff. Please note, however, that, in addition to being screen captures, they are compressed for Youtube. The quality at www.moogis.com is much better. A subscription is $125.00 and you g

I can completely understand how some people can't get in to the whole "jam band" thing. I've been attempting to get in to the Grateful Dead over the past 15 years or so (Hey, I'm only 30 - cut me some slack) and, after listening to "Live Europe" and starting with some of the Dick's Picks series, I think I'm just now getting it (hopefully). I'm sti

Cool to hear so many people like DT. I met him a couple of times right before his second CD came out. I have a picture of us together back when we were both about 19 from backstage at an ABB concert in Cincy (he had subbed for Jack Pearson for a few shows around that time). Amazing how fast time goes by. I'll have to see if I can dig that picture up.

Check out www.archive.org for free high quality (mostly SBD) recordings of nearly all of Ryan Adams' shows over the past few years. That should be a good starter for you. Saw him in Ludwigshafen in 2006. It's widely considered the best show of that tour. A great SBD exists at www.archive.org as well. All The Best, E-Duane

I'd much rather listen to Ryan Adams, a very under-rated artist in my opinion. But, Bryan Adams does have a couple of OK songs. Aside from a greatest hits compilation I don't have anything else by him. Peace, Duane-O

In all honesty - and maybe this is because I'm an American myself - I've never really been able to get into many UK bands. Aside from the Stones and maybe the Beatles I don't find many other discs by UK groups in rotation in my CD player. That's not to say that I don't dig Led Zeppelin, for example (although I never understood the greatness of The Who), or own any of thei

For anybody that's interested the entire new Eagles album is being streamed at the following site: When I first started high school in the mid '90s the Eagles were by far my favorite band. This was around the time they went out on the HFO tour, which was just fantastic for me. While some feel it doesn't belong in rock'n roll or country-rock or whatever the thing that dr

I've visited quite www.dvdoverseas.com a few times as my wife and I are finally in the advanced stages of getting her green card and leaving Germany for the USA (hopefully she's approved - I can't wait! I've been here for five years and it's been about three years too long!). Most European DVD players and TVs will play NTSC films, I assume because the bulk of the films
