On the contrary, the Stones owe everything to their fans because without them there would be no Stones at all. So stop the whining about the whining and get the real deal! They should thank there fans for being so true and that they have stayed connected for this many years. I myself are in for my 48th year and there loads of people that has stayed true to the band for this long. If we are

Well I guess the Stones then is mumbo jumbo while singing: "Don't wanna talk about Jesus just wanna see his face"

As I wrote in an answer to this! I'm feeling sad for all those people affected by this tragedy! Still home can be valuable to any person regardless if that person is poor or wealthy. It's still a home to Keith and his family.

I know that many of the people in the area suffers from this disaster and I certainly feel sorry for the losses. Though since this is a Rolling Stones forum I think about Keith's home as well as all the other less fortunate peoples property. Even if Keith is fortunate enough to buy any house somewhere else, it's still his home and I gather that he and his family cherish their home a

What a stupid view on this subject! I've been spending lots of money since 1964. So now when I can't afford it anymore then I'm not a Stones fan anymore? Well then I am happy to leave the fanhood behind me. Why? Because the Rolling Stones are not ROCK AND ROLL anymore! They're a corporation doing everything they can to suck you for every penny you've got. I cert

The Rolling Stones can at some point deliver great rock and roll but if we look at it seriously: They say they are a hard working band. Well guess what 2 new in 7 years isn't close to hard work. They were "rock and roll" in their prime during the 60's, 70's and took rock and roll to a new level with the gigantic shows and tours from the 80's and up to the "

To be honest! Without comparing with any other song! D & G is the biggest hit they've got in years! Mind you it's still young and it could climb in some countries still. It's great to see the list of top 10's in different countries and I hope two of the so called "influential Swedish popcritics", (one already famous for having had a clash with Keith!), will

Still! What the f**k has Lance Armstrong got to do with the Rolling Stones and what makes him earn a place on this board? Hasn't he showed enough to the world of sport what cheating is. There's been many threads that has been closed or moved into similar thread topicwise that is. But this thread is still around and I wonder why! So as some other person wrote above. Step i

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteFan Since 1964 I wonder which period in the Rolling Stones history LA played in the band? Wouldn't it be better this thread did wind up somewhere else? I thought this was a Rolling Stones forum! Certainly the recent LA Friday release comes to mind. Anyone else? Lance Armstrong Friday doesn't excist in my Rolling Stones world!

The more I listen to the song I'm getting convinced that it'll be a great opener for shows. I personally think that this song would be great as an opener. It would certainly set the pace and feel for upcoming shows! I like the mix between the modern touch to it and the sexy rock and roll that the Stones always stood up for.

Cocky, Randy, Angry, Hot and whatever superlative can be mentioned. They can't do a better move musically. The sound is a brickwall moving in 200 k's up to your face. Then it smashes your senses to pieces. Now what an new album with this character of attitude and sound. The Stones are back better than ever!

I agree! Jagger is messing up the whole legacy of the Stones. My guess is because he has become to grrreedy. The Stones don't feel that much rock and roll to me anymore!

Agree with this! We have been fortunate enough to have them around as long as we have. But I think Stones fans have a hard time to let go and that has become a problem for many of us! But then again, we should all be humbled by what we've got from the band. Let's talk graciously about them from now on!
