I'm disappointed that he's chosen mainstream over-familiar classic rock songs to cover. He is (was? could be?) one of the best white soul singers ever. I'd like to see him get in touch with his inner Sam Cooke and record the great soul covers record he's capable of. He's a much better singer now because he's not gakked to the gills, racing around like he's in a track meet. I mean he still moves and puts on a fantastic show, but not enough to affect his vocals, as he used to. Also, the advances in sound reinforcement technology over the last few tours have definitely improved the quality of his vocals.

I've had mine for about 5 yrs. and it's a great little amp- light weight, loud enough for home, band practice or small gigs. Good reverb and tons of real tube tone and it works every damn time I flip the switch.
