It amazes me how clueless people are when it comes to handling DVDs/CDs. I've had the same discs in my collection for nearly 20 years in some cases with nary a scratch on them. If you don't touch the playing side of the disc and keep the disc in its case, there's no reason to wear out a disc. That being said, as an Army veteran, I have used Brasso quite often to polish brass b

I asked the same question on here a year or more ago and didn't get a definitive answer then either. Apparently no one knows what the f*** Mick is saying in that first line.

Does anybody watch this crap? This week they are showing Volume 2 of I Love the 70s. The 1971 episode has a nice piece on Sticky Fingers, especially the cover art. But later in the show when Peter Frampton presents the "guitar gods" of 1971, no mention is made of Keith. Ditto 1972. WTF?

If I recall correctly, Gimme Shelter was on the list of song choices for the internet fan voting gimmick at the start of the B2B tour but when it started winning the vote for every show, they just added it to the regular setlist. erikjjf Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > canadian.sway Wrote: > --------------------------------------------------

I don't care if they're 100 years old and play the same 5 warhorses as their entire show. It still beats just about anything that's come out in the last several years.

I was flipping through the channels and caught "An Officer and a Gentleman" where Louis Gosset's drill sergeant character says "Where you been all your lives, at an orgy? Listening to Mick Jagger music and bad-mouthing your country, I'll bet." Great line. Anybody remember that? Interesting that it was directed by Taylor Hackford of "Hail Hail Rock 'n&

Mellencamp opened with Gimme Shelter on his 2001 tour. Saw him the weekend after 9/11 in Hershey, PA. He opened with GS and closed with Pink Houses. Let me tell you that was one emotional show with flags waving everywhere.

If you can find any live Kinks from the same period, you'll notice that they play "You Really Got Me" in a style similar to Van Halen. I believe Ray Davies even admitted to being inspired by the VH version. I don't recall Roger Waters saying anything derogatory about the Stones. That was David Gilmour. Two entirely different people who obviously don't agree on much. Because Mick is so hard to understand sometimes, it's not totally obvious to the casual listener. The first time I played "Starf*cker" for my best friend, he asked me "What's a star puppet?"
