QuoteSocrates1 QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteSocrates1 Mick could do an awesome album right now. And I have a feeling he's been building one up for quite some time. It may never top Crosseyed Heart for me, which is one of my favorites - ever. But I can really see Mick putting out a follow-up to Wandering Spirit, something of that high-caliber quality, with a world music feel. What was Mick doing

Never cared for this one. Somehow the energy feels fake, the guitar section doesn't deliver and Jagger (like Mathijs stated) sounds forced. Definately their least interesting live release.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteOlly Quotemr edward Love disc 2, but I don't think I listened to disc 1 more than once... Does the best live version of 'Street Fighting Man' not deserve multiple listens? Yes, it does. However, that version is to be found on Stripped Haha! Correct!

QuoteHMS I love it, although it´s just some sort of incomplete 4-Flicks-soundtrack. It´s good to have it, now you can play it everywhere, not so easy with the 4-Flicks-package. To my ears it sounds better than 4-Flicks, but who knows, I can only listen to DVDs in stereo. On CD the guitars seem to be more prominent and the sound is less muffled. The tracklist is superb and I dont care much for

I'm digging PPD! It just goes to show new musical partners can make the oldest cat in the alley sound inspired.

Quotewhitem8 The Black Keys Brothers limited edition vinyl box set. Nice! Great album, I remembering driving everybody in 'Casa Edward' completely mad by playing 'I'm Not The One' constantly for weeks on end! Good times...

Recenty I (really) started listening to the Allman Brothers Band. I already owned 'Live at Fillmore East and several records by sidemen like Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes/Gov'Mule, but after reading 'One Way Out: The Inside History of the Allman Brothers Band' by Allen Paul (highly recommended by the way) I bought Eat A Peach, Idlewild South and Brothers and Sisters on vinyl.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks I dont know what people see in this band. Even Keith doesn't like them. Well, Keith doesn't like that many bands that were formed after 1962 anyway, does he?

QuoteGreg I remember this doc primarily as a show off of Micks busy jetset life and his excellent but not entirely accent-free French.. Am I right? You're right! Charmed Life extravaganza.

QuoteRoughJusticeOnYa I love it tru-and-tru when Jagger sings the blues; and he does a mean, wonderful job here with the Red Devils. It all has a wonderful 'live' vibe & ring to it... But in all fairness, some songs do seem & sound like he's recording 'just' a demo. A perfectionist artist like Jagger would never-ever release that. So I can understand - and in

QuoteHairball Nice work proudmary. As I stated, my entire post was just an assumption. _____________________________________________________________________________ Back to the Red Devils - w/out Mick. Here's one of the video's I referred to above, but turns out it's an interview with Les while still with the Red Devils in 1993 at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands
