They way Keith sings the verses makes me think of recent Bob Dylan records. Nice groove by the way, but Amnesia sounds like an outtake, waiting for an idea to make it come to life.

Hey, don't get me wrong: anything 'new' is welcome. Strings would add a nice flavour to some slower songs. If it were up to me, the next tour would have a screaming, howling hammond organ.

QuoteMel Belli Charlie's kit never sounded better than in '89. His snare hasn't had the same "pop" since. +1!

Quoteswimtothemoon It's important to remember when a fan compares a $2,000 stones ticket to a $150 stones ticket - a nosebleed ticket and a front row ticket are both worth zero dollars after the show. I realize there is value differences in the two experience - but to this degree? Exactly. Think about it: 2000 dollar for two hours of rock 'n roll?!

QuoteCome On This day the record companies releases records for publishing's sake. It's almost that I think Spotify is more interesting. Should it be for real, there must be new songs on new discs. Key is exclusiveness: most releases have few copies, so of you want one, you have to visit your local independant record store. Scheduling a new (re-) release on Record Store Day adds

Money etc) Both straight re-releases, nothing new Wasn't this one released last year? Those two were released last year. I picked up a 7" by Alex Harvey with a nice version of Jumping Jack Flash though. There were a few by Marianne Faithfull as well.

Quotematxil Quote71Tele This is not just about Mick Taylor. Taylor is a symbol of the schism between the fans who want the band to return (at least minimally) to a more musically adventurous approach, and those who are perfectly happy with the current product and do not want it interfered with. Bringing Taylor back - even in a limited capacity - reminded people of the glorious past, but also wh

You Got The Silver is a beauty. Slipping Away, Steel Wheels. Love the way Charlie 'drives' that version with that dry snare sound. I remember watching Barcelona 1990 on tv and Slipping Away was played during the credits at the end of the show. Loved it.
