i forgot..jimmy page plays on one hit, booby womack, guitar on hold back and h.s. and ivan neville plays some bass again on back to z.. jagger always gives some light to keith tunes.. gives you a more up beat sound. like the some girls album, (mostly a mick album) keith's albums are a little darker.like exile, (great album). anyway you don't feel very good after you listen to the d

it was a keith/ronnie album.. mick had justed released SHE'S THE BOSS in 1985 and mick was out promoting it, when keith and the stones were working on the album.keef was not very happy.. plus there was that live aid concert, that the stones turned down but mick went with bowie and sang... anyway i think it hurt and the album should have never been released untill jagger was willing to spend

HI BIG M., this is fun.. the book the rolling stones by martin elliott, said that brian plays on mlh, "exploring different musical sounds and this track featured his current favourite instrument, the indian sitar." and on sittin on a fence, (i love this track) he says " the prominent instruments are a classical sounding guitar and the background sound of brian jones mellotron.&q

hi, i think its crap too... jagger was just in the usa, and they have some of the very best cancer hosp in the world...he would have gone to the best when he was in the states.. he could be just getting tested... they say when your over 50 you should be tested for colon, breast, cancer, etc. every year.. so jagger i think may be in to get his physical before his big tour......

hi big m. i can't agree on the songs... without brian's sitar mlh and paint it black would be just good tunes. without brian on mellotron, sittin on a fence would just be ok. or under my thumb or lady jane would be cute little tunes that would have been foregotton in a year. brian added to the total sound that made the rolling stones the best band of all time. yes he didn't writ

hi t, if you remember mick/keef wern't going anywhere with that till they met brian. b.j. was far smarter (street smarts) than mick/keef. he took them to the next level, the rolling stones. yes mick/keef loved the blues but brian taught mick to play the harp and helped keith become a much better guitar player. mick was still in school and was only doing it on the side whereas brian was tryin

oh..mathijs...your tough.. but thank god for brian.. there would have never been the rolling stones without him... no one would have even put them on tv without brian's good looks..remember they wanted to replace jagger because of his looks.. he taught keef to play guitar and mick harmonica..he pushed the stones to become bigger than they would have been if it was up to mick/keith. mick in

hi, i think your wrong...sorry.. it was written by roddy jackson and sonny christy, and was first sung by larry williams in 1959.. stones redid it as a heavier beat/mood sound like the who, and yardbirds sound. great guitar work between brian and keith.. great us album...decembers children....

hi, i think its like 2 brothers.. mick loves keith and keith loves mick.. mick is the outgoing and popular brother and keith is the quiet one, the shy one. mick knows keith and excepts the way he is... i do too.. sadly when keith gets hurt or is up set he talks about it to anyone.. he has never been very political or diplomatic! their twins... or i like to think they are like coins..one's

hi, thats keef... he has always done that..he's a big kid. and he never grew up. he is a rolling stone... he never knew why mick jagger, mick taylor or bill wyman wanted to do something else. even keith didn't want to do his own album. he said he rather give it to the stones... i do wish jagger put more time writing stones songs.. he is great but much better working with keith. but as

i am really looking forward to the new album... i liked the new stuff on licks cd and i even like the new songs from jagger alfie.. but i think keef will give it a harder edge! plus the good part is that keith hasn't written anything new in a long time so with jagger on fire and if he can get keith off his ass and excited we should have a great album! but then again i have liked all the st

i believe he thinks like anyone in a family..i think he likes ronnie and enjoys him but i know he hopes ronnie gets himself together with his drinking problem as well as knocks off his smoking.. as a musician ron is well liked .. just look at how busy he has been helping others as well as all his solo albums. plus all the stones songs he helped write over the years...

hi wuudy, i alway liked bill too and wished he never left but i think it is more his age.. he is almost 70 with girl problems.. but if you listen to some of his solo albums he put out.. they are bad!!! real bad.. thank god the stones didn't let him sing or write...ha! i also think its crap to say the stones don't do something different.. they are a rock n roll band and the only band i

hi, 1st it was brian who tried to rip off the other members in the beginning. in the early days brian would let the club managers know he was the bands leader and would try to take a little more for himself..the stones manager, andrew oldham knew brian couldn't write and he pushed mick/keef to write because brian at the time just wanted to be a star.. if brian wanted to write or even if he

ghs could have been in the top 3 albums if it was better recorded..listening to it now with better speakers, preamps and on cd we get to hear all the cool stuff missed when the album was first released..but back in its day, compared to the other bands crap, ghs sounded a little down, black and muddy... even andy johns and jimmy miller wanted to work more on it but jagger was too busy with bianca.

hi mcddtlc i like all stones songs...but you have to admit it was one of their weakest tracks..the book by, martin elliott said " hide your love in one of the weakest tracks recorded at the sessions. etc.. goes on to say mick taylor who again attempts to revive a flagging song wiyh a blistering lead solo. the track has a poor ending..it needed keith to bring it to life and sadly keef doesno
