I think he's talking about the "Fruit of the Loom" (Licks) book and the latest title for the Bangs tour. I'd like some information on those myself. Maybe there's some great pix?

It was a good experience. However, I wouldn't of done it more than once. Nothing is more exciting than being in the first few rows in front of the stage.

Christina did a great job! Best thing the poptart has done to date. And she's not bad looking either.

I think it's playing in Munich. I saw it at Cinemaxx. Loved it of course, but wished it were a little louder. Must be great at the IMAX.

LOVE IT!!!!! For me this has a nice bootleg feeling (setlist and sound). Don't understand all the negative reaction to the album. It's a fans dream come true. The Rolling Stones now!!! Maybe we expect too much? My only concern is that the tape seems sped-up. Anyway, the past live records were dubbed/edited? Thank You to THE ROLLING STONES for a great release.

After my second listen I think it's f-ing great. My personal test will be if it's played as much as Ya-Ya's (keeping in mind it's a diffent era). At this point my concern is fade-down's between songs on the full CD? Ultimately we may have the gold nugget we hoped for!

Hello to Fred. Remember me from Amsterdam Licks? I'm a U2 and Beatles fan myself. However The Stones remain on top for me. I'm curious to find out where to see this film in Germany. Anyone know of a link to dates and times?

I prefer the old style myself. But like anything else I suppose it could grow on me.

I had to take a short break before responding to this crap. First, as a music fan I thought we were suppose to be open minded. Second, I'm an American and lots of my Euro friends would not know it if I didn't speak english. And last, now I fully realize why BV doesn't allow politics on the board. Let's get back to talking about The Stones!

Yeah, loved Alice since the early '70's. Can't wait to hear the new album and see him again this year. Happy 60th BIG AL!!!

I like the way you think Kent. You're right on target. I rembember Ringo saying "it's just another album" about one of his other releases. In the end he's known for fun-loving simplistic tunes. The opposite of the other three. I'm glad he's still around.

Thanks Ludwig for posting this. Suprisingly there was enough special things inside to keep it interesting, not the "standard" things we've seen repeatedly. I especially enjoyed the fantastic 1972 footage of Tumbling Dice. I hope this means it will be released officially. How about that lucky guy with the guitar strings, picks and autographs!

Don't know anything about real value, except the one you put on it yourself. I have seen the "real" ones on E-Bay. Also, I've seen some fakes. The ones I'm familiar with are white with a plain red tounge and Rolling Stones on the other side. The latest ones may have a city and date instead of Stones. Also the tongue has a black outline. That's my limited knowledge, h

Come to think of it I felt there was a little animosity between Ringo and Paul when they were interviewed together for the "Love" gig. Yoko and George's wife were there too. Anyway, I remember Paul patting Ringo on the leg and saying something like I love him, but Ringo seemed to push him away, in a nice way of course. Would be too bad if they had a poor relationship, considering a

Recently there has been MP3/CD/DVD material transferred to vinyl. One label claims "save the vinyl" I'd like to, if they were willing to give me something great for the prices they're asking. However, the new Swinging Pig has a great slogan, "it's not over" very cool and the colored vinyl is nicer than the other one I mentioned.

Agreed. One of the best box sets I've seen. And fair priced too. Imagine Voodoo Brew/Stew with a bonus DVD from a unreleased 1994/5 concert. I'd lose my mind.

He was taken from us 27 years ago 8 December 1980. I've started my yearly vigil with Guinness brew and broke out my original albums. I hope you'll raise a glass to him and remember what he's meant to a lot people around the world. For me he's just as important as someone like Martin Luther King. I don't think it could be argued his effect on people was less impactive. No
