TSP vinyl is a beautiful piece indeed. They have definately improved since their early issues. I've also noticed that they didn't put a dead space betwwen songs on the new 3 LP Zep release New Orleans 73). I was shocked to hear that on an earlier Zep release (NY 75).

You talkin' about the new Swingin' Pig release? If so I believe everything has already been released. Also be advised this label seems to use MP3's (via internet) as it source. However, on the positive side they are making some nice looking products.

Been a Rock N'Roll fan since four years old (in 1967). Never met anyone that loves it more than me to date. Although, I'm sure I have a few (yet unknown) brothers and sisters here. Nice to know I'm not alone.

I always thought Plant was the reason for no reunions. Even before this happening I must admit that I suported the idea of Page, Jones and Jason Bonham going on without him. Of course it's nearly impossible to replace "the" singer but I'm hoping there's an unknown guy that can be as dynamic and powerful as a "younger" Robert Plant to replace him. It could maybe

Maybe We'll enjoy it more when it's mailed in 2025. Like a fine wine. Actually I cheated and bought one from E-Bay.

Was thinking about the complaints about the proposed new "19" re-issues. Here's my 2 cents. When friends ask me what the hell I'm doing with all my records and CD's this is my response. The excitement of owning 100 Ferrari's can not equal my Rock N' Roll memories or experiences. For me I have several Mona Lisa's, most millionaires will not feel that fullfil

I also think Chuck is the KING. Elvis was important, no doubt about it. In my opinion he helped bridge the whites and blacks. However he didn't write music and also faked guitar playing (although entertaining). And lets not forget that he informed on John Lennon to Nixon. Don't know what he was trying to prove by that. Aside from his first couple of years I don't like him much.

I must have several hundred tongues in some type of form. I too almost always wear a tongue. For my employee of the month I wore a suit with a Steel Wheels tie for a picture. Only my close friend was able to figure it out.

Gueze. It's called the Belgium Champagne, but it's actually Beer. Great in the summertime.

I love that tune. It's not quite Jumpin' Jack Flash, then again it's not 1968 either.

Did he slag Letterman the way he always does The Stones? That goes for Leno as well. I say if either of those guys were Mick's pinky toe they'd be someone!

At Osnabruck he used the Guillotine. I was hoping for the hanging because I've never seen it. Maybe he'll do it in November. Overall the concert was excellent, good show and very strong band with near flawless performance. As far as the new album goes I don't care for the tracks I've heard. Hopefully the whole CD will turn out to be great. Alice still rocks!!!

Ablett wrote: I'm not aware of any 'row'? I thought there's been some tension between them since he left. Minus Charlie- supposedly they still keep in touch. Also, I've heard that Bill won't sign any Stones stuff theses days. Maybe he's angry over amount of royalies and songwriting credit? Anyhow my point is that it would be great to have Bill recorded

Happy24 wrote: Why would he go to the studio with them then? Because his style fits the Stones better than Darryls. And it would be a more Stonesy record, I believe. For example I was listening to "let me down slow" the other day and though it's already a great track, but it would be more of a classic with Bill's "famous" swing style. Also my point about Darry

Then he could be part of the band while Darryl could do the touring. The fans would get to have Bill's get playing on record and he could avoid airplane travel. Also, this might eliminate the row between him and The Stones. Meanwhile it seems no one really cares to have Darryl pretend to be a Stone. Although he is a great talent. Just wondering!

45 years old 43 gigs I too had the thought of matching gigs to age. Should of made it last year but a couple of issues prevented me from it. Hopefully I'll be able to make it up on a forthcoming club gig tour, since there isn't suppose to be any more stadium tours?

The Times They Are A Changin' It's nothing more than that. I look around me and see a completely different attitude, mood and world than I knew as a youngster. Then again, the generations before me probably said the same thing. Anyway, in my opinion we are the lucky ones that got to enjoy Rock N' Roll. With a little luck we'll have a few more years with our heroes. After that

Good question. Seems it only played in the U.K. and maybe Amsterdam? What about the rest of Europe? Of course those 2 places have a large fanbase, However I'm sure a lot of people feel left out. Maybe they predicted poor ticket sales? I would love to see and hear it at the IMAX.
