You guys are forgetting there is not a lot of time here. I think three songs and all old ones. I agree with the Motown/Detroit connection.
1. Start Me Up
2. Ain't Too Proud to Beg
3. Satisfaction

That's funny as I remember I was going out with this particular young lady many moons ago and I recall how truly embarassed and humiliated I was buying her a Vanilla Ice cassette as a stocking stuffer one year. I remember explaining myself to the cashier and hoping he'd believe me. "No it's not for me, it's for this chick that gives really good head". As I recall I a Forum: Tell Me
G & R's cover of Dylan's Knockin on Heaven's Door is perhaps the worst cover song in the history of cover songs. I did enjoy Salt of the Earth in 89 when izzy and Axl joined the Stones on the Pay Per View. Forum: Tell Me
As far as floyd goes forget it. Gilmour is touring solo behind a new album and has issued a statement that he hopes this will put to rest any rumours of a tour with floyd. They reportadly turned down 200-250 million to tour. These guys don't need the dough. They have not ruled out the occasional get-together like at live 8. Forum: Tell Me
Not one of my favorites but still some great tracks. I too love Slipping Away. And Almost Here You Sigh is one of my favorite ballads. But Rock in a Hard Place, Terrifying, Sad Sad Sad and a few others just don't like them at all. Mixed Emotions was okay. It's like what others said, it was great that they were back and embarking on the next faze of their amazing career, one that continu Forum: Tell Me
I mentioned the jumping of the shark on a previous thread about the soap opera. that is really sad. These decisions must be made when Keith is hammered. Forum: Tell Me
I apologize if I was ignorant to the facts surrounding Townsend's arrest. But I hardly think as F.U.C the Captain states that being against child pornography is "petty morals". Fact is he has a history with child pornography and if it's escalated to direct sexual abuse it wouldn't surprise me. He is a creep, plain and simple. Forum: Tell Me
This creep deserves to get what's coming to him and the firing squad sounds like a good start. Crimes against children are the worst imaginable and people like Glitter and Townsend (research my ass) who even obtain child pornography deserve lengthy jail terms, period. How people can harm and/or promote harm against innocent children is beyond any sane person. The computer age has unfortunate Forum: Tell Me
5. No ACC gig in Toronto
4. Keith's two songs (where's the rockers?)
3. I may never see them again
2. Rarities CD with very few rarities
1. That piss-ass official website (haven't got my dvd yet!) Forum: Tell Me
Yeah, Toronto sucks as well with Q107 (you guys remember them now don't yeah!) playing the same songs over and over again. You take someone like Neil Young, they play Cinnamon girl 20 times a day but you'll never get anything off Ragged Glory and onwards. (unless it's just out and they might play a new one for a little while) Same with the stones, nothing after Tattoo You. Very fru Forum: Tell Me
Very well said Pecman. I totally agree and the reason to me is simply pride, that they want to show the world they can still sell records and have hits but those days are gone simply because of the time elapsed, not the quality of the music. It's nice for us to have a new album though, especially a very good one IMHO. On another note, I had a hard time here in Toronto finding that Rarities d Forum: Tell Me

Wow, looks like they are finally going to come through with this as they have sent out e-mails confirming addresses. Does anyone know (bv?) what will be on the dvd, could it be the Phoenix gig? I sure hope so. Forum: Tell Me
I think he is referring to Chuck getting caught with cameras in the bottom of some women's outhouse. I remember hearing something about that. Can anyone elaborate. Forum: Tell Me
It amazes me how you can review reports from the exact same show and have completely opposite opinions. (not even close) Anaheim is an example. If you go to the review section you would think that these people could not have been at the same show. How can some say it was the greatest concert ever (or close to it) and for others it's the worst Stones concert ever. I can see a slight variance Forum: Tell Me
I cant get enough of The Worst, Infamy. Please Keith, whatever you do do not play Happy, Little T& A, Before They Make Me Run. And pleeaaase, no concerts without Miss You and You Got Me Rockin (so far, so good). Forum: Tell Me
I totally agree with Hound Dog. Just real sick of it now as it really was never one of my favorites. It's kind of an easy way out for the band right now, a somewhat newer song that they can play very easily and therefor not take any chances. If it has to be played better on the small stage but not at all would be better. Too bad Love is Strong never came off very good live, love that song of Forum: Tell Me
