Quotemtaylor Then England is not that big anymore. I'm pretty sure it's the same size as it was yesterday

It's a black day for us in the UK. June 24th shall forever be known as the new black Friday In American terms imagine if Trump gets elected as president. It's that much of a @#$%& up IMHO The old folks have @#$%& over the next few generations

A rare man, never disappoints me. The London gig was up there with the very best i've ever seen him, with all manner of different backing bands A last trooper of the old guard that still sounds as good today as he ever did. With maybe Tom Waits in close company but that's it.

Quotecapsula Maybe I'm the only one thinking this, but I don't like how Axl voice fits with ACDC. He scream too much for me... No you're not mate, it's absolute dog shit Loved em since i was 8, saw them 43 times with the last being in Lisbon with this abomination under duress. Never again Well unless Brian and Phil comeback Hang it up for FFS Angus

Quotedcba Well the AC/DC train moves on to the next town while you're staying on the plaform crying. I pity you! Angus wants to move on, Angus will move on (new album, new singer) and he addresses a "look at my bum buddy" salute to all his "fans" who disagree. "Mate thx for giving me your money all these years but this is my band so you can bugger off!".

Quotedcba Well to my ears the band sounds MUCH younger and Angus seems to have fun! Have you noticed he gone back to standard tuning for the Axl/dc tour? Methinks it's Brian "dead vocal chords" Johnson who demanded the band to tune down to E flat. It's safe to say Brian dragged AC/DC down during the last few years (2008-2015) and I'm happy to see Angus has broken his

It's an abomination to my ears. Had a ticket to the first European show in Lisbon and was 75/25 whether to go or not. In the end I did, knew within 10 minutes it wasn't for me Can't believe my all time favourite band has ended up this way Luckily i managed to get refunds for London & Manchester

they actually played Live Wire at the first night at the NEC Birmingham in 1982 also. i've yet to hear any bootleg recording of it as yet though if it was as bad as the Glasgow version it's no wonder they never bothered again

QuoteGasLightStreet So was or is... whatever AC/DC's newest LP is called (I forget) as good as BLACK ICE? It's MILES better than the bloated Black Ice. IMHO, possibly the best Brian era album since Flick. Well, it's certainly been played a lot here anyway. I think being so short helps it enormously, no time to get bored! Roll on NY

Just been digging under the bed and pulled out a tube containing five old Stones lithographs. From memory these were sold on the Licks Tour, but i may be totally wrong as they state on them 1994 The three i've decided to offload are as follows, I doubt they're worth much but if anyone can help me price/correctly date em it'd be appreciated They all measure roughly 60 x 45 cms

QuoteBluzDude Question for those seeing them in Europe....Glasgow especially. I bought tickets the day they went on sale. According to ticketmaster, the tickets haven't been printed yet and to let them know if they don't arrive within 5 days of the show..... ....one big problem, it often takes up to 2 weeks to receive mail in California from the UK. (My Who Hyde Park tickets took

Arnhem was good shit, prob 8/10. It's definitely not the same without Mal & Phil but they still put on a great show. If only they could get Phil back all would be right with the world once again

Apart from the drums (or to be more precise the WAY overuse of his hi hats) it sounded pretty decent. I'm not a fan of soundboard recordings to be honest as they suck all the life out of the live vibe. Dcent setlist, and a few ropey moments aside i'm looking forward to Arnhem on May 5th But for the love of God Chris ... STOP playing that bloody hi-hat nonsense Still praying Phil c

Thought the Grammy performance was fine. I'd rather have a slow HTH than a fast one that's for sure, at least it retained it's groove this time And, it wouldn't be Slade era AC/DC without a tempo @#$%& up sadly

QuoteBastion They've left space for Glastonbury. Calling it now; they'll be headlining the Saturday slot. NO CHANCE Berlin on the Thursday, Scotland on the Sunday. No way they'll play anywhere on the Friday or Saturday

Rumour today that Simon Wright has been sounded out about taking back the drum stool. Whilst this doesn't fill me with happiness (THE RUDD IS THE ONLY MAN FOR THE JOB IMHO) it's a damn sight better than the prospect of having Chris Slade back! God, I still have nightmares about that whole Razors Edge period

QuoteDoc If you really want a FOTS show, get Laguna Hills (Aug 13 1986) That must have been a LONG Flick Of The Switch tour if it was still going in 1986

Well chuffed! Staggered how much I like both the leaked songs in fact. Best stuff since Flick for sure. The worlds best rock n roll band strike again I only wish Malcolm was well enough to witness the comeback 2015 will be the year of AC/DC once again

Wish Benteke was available for Belgium, anything's more potent than Lukaku Back to Suarez, if its really acceptable for adults (never mind children!) to bite each other in Uruguay remind me never to visit He's a grade A mental case and needs locking up before he totally flips. A disgrace to humanity and his country whose chance of winning he's just ruined

Can someone clarify the rules on posting please ?. Apparently as i wasn't at this gig, I shouldn't be posting anything about them playing SOS at it. Yet, do my eyes deceive me but aren't MANY other folks that weren't there either posting also? This will be one quiet board if people can only air opinions that are on shows they've attended themselves wont it ? Havi

Thank you, it is of course MY opinion and not one that HAS to be shared by everyone else But i still can't understand why they'd play it To me it'd be like AC/DC suddenly adding say 'Money Talks' or some other awful shite to their next setlist for no apparent reason
