I love Dirty Work. Outside of the production qualities, I see it a one of the shining stars of the 80s-90s Stones. Hardcore, nasty, mean. Good ole Stones. None of this "SLippin Away" and "Out of Tears" whining ( I do like both of those songs). Winning Ugly and BTZ are the 2 low points. The rest of this disc kicks. I mean, Fight has some of Keith's best guitar work sin

I am a die hard Stones fan like everyone here. Primitive cool was my "STones Biggest Disappointmet". You take my favorite rock and roll singer and one of my top 3 favorite rock guitarist and put out that effin' mess? There wasn't enough drugs in Manhattan in the 80s to make me like that disc. Mick was trying to way too cool. What a mess

I love the Stones mid to late 70s soul stuff. Heartbreaker, 100 Years Ago, IYRWTBMF,Fool To Cry and even Tops and Worried are great songs. By recording those songs, I feel they stayed close to thier roots. I think they COULD play IYRWTBMF live but I really don't know how it would play unless they did a duet with someone. I don't know if they could pull it off with just Mick and th

I said Was is a boob because of the "real fan" remark. What is that suposed to mean? That only "real fans" will like or listen to this disc? The guy is simply selling and promoting it. Trying to suck us in. To say something like that, to me, is nuts. I don;t think he should be disclosing anything until the final cuts are ready to be edited. I do agree that he has produce

For Those who can't see the web bite: Fenway gig for Stones? By Jennifer Rosinski Monday, March 14, 2005 Move over Buffett and Bruce, the Rolling Stones now want the ``Satisfaction'' of playing Fenway Park. Mick Jagger and the crew have set their sites on the Green Monster with hopes of playing at the ballpark twice in August, the Boston Courant reports.

Thanks for the review. It's good to know that he's "back" and good to see Mick get up on stage. I would love to see Ian Mac tour with the Stones this time....I know he won't but it would be cool.

I'm with Bruno on this one:"real fans"? Don Was is a boob. My other fear is that a songlike Don't Stop was going to be the foundation for the new disc and it appears he confirms that. Don't Stop is ok but in reality it's mediocre ompared to what they could use as a starting point. Thanks for the posting Potted shrimp. It's good to have concrete postings about

I love Summer Romance. It's the Stones being the Stones...great song. I agree with Potted Shrimp abut the outtakes though. The guitars on a couple of them are incredibly tight. Some of Ron and Keith's best work I think that Let Me Go (studio, with the bells) is one of my all time favorite Stones songs. I love the country feel of the guitar, Mick's "leave me the eff alone, I

As a person who lost 4 close friends on 9/11, I share your grief. We need to find a way to end this crap. Maybe we could get all the terrorists to attend a Stones concert, have a few drinks and some valium and let them see it all ain't bad.

I'm looking for a very "hot" version of Miss You Live. I don't have any really kicking versions of this song. For some reason, the live versions of this song always leave me flat. Are there any great versions out there? If so, what discs have it?

My take on this is that the Stones are an "old" band. They aren't really bringing in that many new fans. I'm sure U2 is bringing in more "new" fans than the Stones are and that will probably be the case from here on. U2 is about 25 years old and a lot of people "believe" in Bono and his mission and there will always be people who are drawn to an artist beca

I like the Love You Live version a lot (yes...I know the solo is dubbed). The guitars are briliant. Are there any "clean" versions of the Altamont recording? The one I have is really muffled.

If this disc is a mix of Wandering Spirit and Keith's 2 solo discs, it will be phenominal. Unfortunatley I fear we are going to get a bunch of Don't Stops

If the songs are rockers or anything that equals his 2 solo discs---then the whole album can be his stuff.
