When it came out when I was 12 I didn’t like Fingerprint File or Luxury but do now. I think it’s a shame that they didn’t use the slightly slower and correct version of FF when they re-released the vinyl. The SACD version is great

For exile, jagger did Larry King live, and it was a week of stones stuff on Jimmy Fallon with both mick and Keith showing up separately. I don’t remember much push behind Some girls as far as interviews. They did a one night theater run of Some Girls in Texas and that was about it as far as I remember

I bought it with no regrets. Only watched it once but it appeared to have a few different camera angles than original laser disc. I can’t even watch voodoo uncut. The video and audio are worse than my old vhs or bootleg copies.

It’s nostalgia plain and simple. I was 11 when GHS came out. It was the first studio album I had of theirs. The videos being shown on Don Kirschners rock concert. I remember my brother saying “ it’s probably the last album because they’re old”. Been a stones junkie ever since.
