RTJ is incredible. Just listened to it like 5 times straight. It got better with every listen. Very much looking forward to this release

Didn’t I read somewhere that Mick, Ronnie, and Charlie worked together in the studio in April or May 2021? I don’t think Charlie would have been needed for the Tattoo You extended addition. Time to bring it on.

To be honest and totally selfish on my part, I hope he means getting busy in the studio. A tour is great but I crave to lay on my couch and put a new vinyl on my turntable and say wow. I am nearly 60 now and was turned on to these guys by my older brother when I was 10 when he had THROUGH THE Past DARKLY, stayed up late to watch the GHS promos on Don Kirshners rock concert. It didn’t take long

It’s their 60th year so if it’s coming out I guess this is the year to do it

Wouldn’t be shocked if they threw out a 50th anniversary of Exile with a 1972 live show

IMHO I think a lot of the best stuff was used on solo projects since mid eighties. Some really good songs that if one or the other tweaked a bit would have been great. I think the creativity is still there but not the drive to spend weeks in the studio to collaborate.

I like Ghost Town but I am also hoping it wasn’t the best thing they recorded thus far.

Whether the results are any good will be a matter of opinion but I have a feeling Jagger at least did a lot of music during lockdown. Besides GHS and Tattoo he mentioned that he finished some of the new tracks. He even quickly wrote and recorded the song with David Grohl. Didn’t he, Charlie and Ronnie lay some more new tracks down in April/May once he returned to London? I would venture to s

Would love TY live in its entirety like Sticky but extremely doubtful it would happen. They would need a month to rehearse it.

Haven’t read the credits. Is Don Was listed on this. To me the real gem is Wembley. I think it’s better than VA 1981 and Leeds 1982. YCAGWYW is killer on Wembley. God do I miss that rawness.

All the big ones since 1971 are done. I wouldn’t be surprised if they revisit Exile for the 50th next year. Only us diehards want more. I love Black and Blue but I don’t see any market for a deluxe. Just my opinion

Loved the spectacle of Steel Wheels, Voodoo, and Bang. Hated the Licks stage. Really enjoyed the No Filter show I saw at Gillette stadium 2 years ago. I had seats on the cat walk on Keith’s side. For a stadium show it seemed very intimate. They were right there and I wasn’t distracted I just focused on the band. I had great seats for the other tours I mentioned but sometimes I got distracted

Geez. What a change. Do folks remember the arenas from 1981. They’d hit the stage at 10:30PM. There was like a 2 hour wait after opening act. Lol

I was 15 years old and begged my dad to drive me to the record store the day Love You Live was released. The cover was gross and I kept thinking what the hell is this garbage. I actually love the cover now but Warhol was right saying Jagger diminished it with the lettering.
