this clip gives perfect justification for the reason I have not seen Dylan for the last 10 yrs, especially now that he's not even playing guitar. he's a "God", but he is awful live! Godawful!!

like it much better on Some Girls, where it really rocks. The drive has been missing from their live version for quite awhile - has to do with the arrangement/guitar rhythms.

the first Stones lp that I bought right after it went on sale. Still remember the feeling of loving it on first listen. Then, I saw them for the first time, too, in Philly just a few weeks later. That was a Some Girls summer!

Ronnie B. Good! just finished his autobio, and even though it's a little heavy on the name-droppin, this cat just loves to play, AND has realized the benefits that being sober can add to his ability. Keep it up, Ronnie!

It is poignant that the most powerful moment of the movie is when they are joined by blues legend Buddy Guy. The influence of the blues on their music and performance is as evident today as it was 40+ years ago when they were just starting on their journey to become the world's greatest rock and roll band. I saw it in Zürich Sat. afternoon, large theater about 1/3 full. My comments: - Scorcese's presence was kind of comical, so entertaining in a Woody Allen type way - glad that Clinton's presence (especially Hillary) was minimal, but liked his introduction of the band (much better than Cohl) - thought the first 2/3 of the movie was the best (All Down the Line, Imagination especia

I saw them in Zürich about a year ago. Really good show - he mixes old with new and some of the old he does a little differently. See him!

fyi for Swiss Stones fans - I contacted the only IMAX theater in Switzerland about plans to show Shine a Light and here is how they responded: Dear Sir, Right now there are no plans to show „Shine a Light“ in our theatre. If you would like to get regular information updates on our programme please subscribe to our E-News list: We’re looking forward to welcome you soon in

hunh sha-doobee shaterred shattered hunh sha-doobee shaterred shattered that was my first Stones show - a rainy day in Philly, clouds cleared for the Stones.. what a thrill.. Jagger was sippin' alot of bourbon that day - later found out that he was sick and thought it was one of the worst shows of the tour. Some fans through stuff at the stage after they left without playing an encore

in addition to songs already mentioned, I'm fond of Joy and Lucky Day on Goddess. Wandering Spirit is by far his best, though. Wired All Night!

They're playing here (Zürich) on Wednesday night and I want opinion of people who've seen them before. I only like a couple of their songs and actually find R. Smith's vocals nauseating at times, but... I'm sucker for live music. Should I go?

thanks for the review. Would love to see Ian Hunter again. Last time I saw him Mick Ronson was on guitar - wow that was awhile back. He's still a dude.

His new CD is very good. I even liked his last one, though the production was shabby, it has some good tunes, especially good live (saw him in Berlin). I think he's also on David Letterman show tonight in US.

sadly, a very sparse audience in the FOS section in Paris last June. the second half of the pitch was quite full, but when Mick would come over to the side of the stage, he was singing to an audience only 10 rows deep. Depressing, but it's the Stones/Cohl's fault.

Anderson's voice has been weak for years. He's kind of an a-hole, too. One time someone in the crowd was disturbing him, so he stopped the song after the intro and told the crowd "that's one less that you're going to get tonight." Failed to play Aqualung, also... I read once that he started bitching about the crowd in Atlanta and someone through a hunk of Brie

this is from the Outlaws website, apparently some of the surviving members had gotten back together: "With great sadness, we must announce the passing of our friend, Hughie Thomasson. Hughie died unexpectedly late Sunday night of an apparent heart attack at his home in Brooksville, Florida."
