Hi All, Of course this means that the real landmark album that we should be lauding is also 40... Now that's genius! Cheers, Si. ps it goes without saying that The Beatles were/are @#$%& great!

Hello Again, Yep I enjoyed last night's Sheffield show and it did seem like the band did too. The audience were slow to respond, which PT alluded to-something along the lines of..."Although you're a bit quiet, but I can feel the warmth...".Or summink like that! I was sat in a good spot,in the lower tier next to Pino but the amount of 'LiveNation' so-called VIP

Pollstar Daily News ServiceLN 1Q Earnings Posted Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 3:00 pm Despite a $584 million boost in revenue, Live Nation has announced its first quarter earnings call May 10th was punctuated by a downturn -- a $45.6 million mark in the debit column, attributed to a lack of powerhouse tours. Hi There, As far as The Who are concerned,I'd nominate 80% of 'Who Are You', 98% of 'Face Dances' and 700% of 'It's Hard'. Cheers, Si.

Hello There, Saw Mr. Willie Nelson for the second time in Manchester in January so here's what I remember about it... Obviously it helps having a slightly partisan crowd to work to,but he radiates humanity, wit and sincerity despite having performed some of these songs 100s of times... Crazy,Always On My Mind,Georgia,Stardust,On The Road Again,All Of Me,Stay All Night,Bloody Mary

Hello Again, I saw the Great Raymondo Davies at The Bridgewater Hall last night-if you get the chance to go then please do,even if you only vaguely like 'The Kinks'. RD is totally at home on stage, and sets everybody at ease from the start-how about "Sunny Afternoon" to begin with? He ain't daft enough to forget or ignore that the 2000 punters in the sold-out hall

Hello, Bit bizarre this,to say the least-on www.ticketline.co.uk I've been offered GA for Sat 18th,but I'll be in a muddy field in the middle of Ireland,so that's no good! EDIT: Ticketline have realised their mistake and are now saying that these will be seats, the location of which will be allocated later. You see,it's not only Stones fans that this garbage happens to

Hi FA, Yep,what you say is right...but I could give you a few instances where KM helped people without seeking anything in return. Like anyone else,he could behave like a complete c**t.However,he was not "...Filth." If you ever get the chance,I'd recommend Tony Fletcher's "Dear Boy:The Life Of Keith Moon"-it is a very different book to Mac's,but just as

Hi There, The thing about KM was that he fitted in totally, and made the band complete. Unfortunately his off-stage behaviour overshadows his huge talent for playing totally with PT and JAE. As has been stated by many who know better than I,the band had an almost telepathic connection when they were at their best. We will not see their like again! As ablett says,"Who's Nex

Hi, Er,it was at the SECC in September 2003-the first of their 2 night stand there. Crowd were berserk at times, and excellently disrespectful of soon-to-be Sir Mick! All-in-all a great night's entertainment! Cheers, Si.

(After a title like that,I can't imagine anyone is still reading this. However,we will persevere.) Hello, Thanks to I got lucky with a couple of 6th row seats at face value.Admittedly I was in two minds about going, but I do think "Dark Side..." is still a great album, and I was almost curious to see if RW was as humourless a twat as I'd imagined. I'll cut right to

Hi, I was sat in the 7th row,Ronnie's side and right beside the catwalk for that show. Yep,there were some 'Fan Asylum' people there too,but I paid £70 for my ticket from the SECC box office-it was a ticket drop that I only heard about because of the kind people who post here! The same thing happened for the Sheffield show, resulting in an even better seat!
