QuoteLeonidP QuoteSpud The only problem with LPs is that you have to get off your arse to turn the buggers over. Not necessarily! Get one of those record players that has the raised notched bar in the center, so that you can stack multiple LPs -- and then buy 2 of the same LP (or 4x in the case of Quadrophenia) and then you don't have to manually change between sides! Hi DP & IB, I appreciate your replies- thanks! Just realised that there's a digital co-ax out from the blu ray player that my amp could accept...they just are on opposite sides of the room. I would probably be looking to rip the Hi res audio to a pen drive/USB stick which my system can play. Allegedly, hah-hah! Cheers, Simon.

Hello, Complete dumb-ass question/First World Problem from a technical Terry Fu*kwit incoming... I have the Blu Ray Audio disc of 'Quadrophenia' (the original 1973 mix) and instead of listening to it via a Blu Ray player and a surround system, is it possible to rip the audio from the Blu Ray to my MacBook, save it to a memory stick or burn it to a CD and then play the hi-res file

Hello, Well the challenge was completed on Sunday afternoon and I was not entirely unhappy to climb off the bike, hah-hah! Two or three of the days threw some of the worst weather that I've ever had the honour to cycle in: absolutely nothing in comparison to those undergoing treatment of course. The fundraising has gone well...almost at £8,500 and I have to thank a few IORRians for don

Hi Sara, Hope you're doing great? The support were on at 8pm sharp and (mercifully...nah, they weren't awful) off at 8.30pm. JF on at 9pm and finished by 10.35pm or so. This was a good 20 mins earlier than Dublin, so Gazza tells me. Have a brilliant time, I'm sure that you'll sing your head off! Cheers, Simon.

You sent me to the dictionary with this, though: “He’s still got the World Champ’s title at gurning when it comes to shredding and slashing away at his Tele…” Gurning: 1. to snarl. 2. to grimace; pull grotesque faces. Hello, Back from that three night stand in Dublin and have scribbled down something... “Good evening Dublin! We’re so happy to be back at The RDS, hell yeah! Come on Max…a-one, two, three, four!" Blimey O’- where to start after an extended weekend like that? No idea, so here’s a few random and disjointed thoughts: before I start with the BS bs, a reminder that he is still in the dog

QuoteTopi Saw Ricky Gervais in Helsinki tonight. He told all proceeds from his Platinum tickets go to charity. Maybe others should take note. Hi Topi, Yeah, animal welfare benefits from RG's platinum sales. I believe that the sublime Bonnie Raitt has done similar, albeit to different causes. Cheers, Simon.
