Hello, Thrilled that they're going down a storm on this jaunt: it was never going to be in doubt, was it? Equally thrilled to have gotten tickets to the second night at The Roundhouse in May...looking forward, big-time! Cheers, Simon.

Hi Mike and All, I was lucky enough to see Dave's show in Leeds on Sunday. Ten years ago I saw him and his band play one of the finest shows that I've seen, so no pressure then DB, hah-hah! In the event, after a slightly slow start due partly to the 'wtf' nature of the stage and the band (no speakers, wires, amps or lights) as the audience adjusted and got into things. A

Hello, I was at their first-night Manchester show last Friday...here are my ramblings, hah-hah! P1220088 by My fourth U2 show and I left it right up to the last minute to decide whether to shell-out £80 on a standing ticket. In the event, touts had no spare 'uprights' going, and the cheapest seat that they had was half-way back in the upper tier for £40. F**k that! If this

Bonsoir mes IORRians, Sorry that I haven't updated this earlier but it's been full-on this last few days. To cut a long story short, I failed in the attempt. The best I could manage was eight ascents, and we were not allowed to ride on The Alpe between 2100 and 0630 because workmen are putting out so many barriers down the mountain! This was a first: no-one knew about it until the da

Hello, Well that was a bizarre way to follow an England match, hah-hah! Fuggin' well done on breaking the penalty curse at long last too. via Imgflip Meme Generator Now you might think that I'd be above trying to exploit any residual 'feel good' factor amongst all you superbly generous and lovely England fans. If you did think that, then I'm here to tell you that

Hello, It's almost that silly season again (no, I don't mean The Stones out on tour) when I attempt a fairly ill-advised cycling challenge in the hope of raising money for a deserving cause or two. Last year's 16 day trek from Seattle to San Diego raised over £5000...a lot of which was down to IORRians. A BIG thanks to you! IMG_1494 by nicholl.simon, on Flickr In 2014 we c

Hello, I saw JB in Liverpool a couple of night's back in what was probably my most user-friendly JB show yet, with the Tufnel-esque noodling reduced and the addition of a vocalist for a few numbers. He loves playing off drummers and he's got Vinnie Coliuta with him again: outrageous, hah-hah! On bass is the sublime Rhonda Smith and he also has cellist (and occasional guitarist) Vane
