Hello, Show number three then-did it disappoint? No way,Jose! Less banter from the chaps, but there were three moments that stand out. No 'Slipkid' this time, but PT played the riff for 'Boris The Spider' as a joke. Then Rog sang the opening 2 lines as Zak lightly joined in on drums, and for a moment it seemed they'd play it.Then Pete said he was "channelling

Hello, First up,sorry for the delay in posting this drivel-blame a combination of being on the move,Photobucket crashing and general Luddite-minded behaviour i.e. not having a lapdancer er,laptop.Just as Jimmy has raised the bar for gig reviews,I feel it is my duty to lower the bar once more. Monday night was a special, special show.It began for me in The Pilot Inn again where I met some oth

Hello, 4700 miles later and wouldn't you know it-the last 10 where an absolute nightmare...points failures...engineering works...line closures...but all that is almost forgotten-it's show time! You just knew that pantomime season is upon us when PT stalked onstage flipping the 2500-strong crowd the bird before breaking into a massive grin:this show was full of good-natured and fou

Hello, I read the following post on another site this morning-an unreal final sentence! "...About three months ago I was contacted by Kenny J's 'manager' who said Kenny wanted to write his autobiography and could I offer him some advice. He asked various questions about books and the book business which I answered, telling him certain things which he perhaps might not ha

Hello, Being not-at-all tech-savvy,I could use your recommendations folks. What I would like to do is rip the songs from various concert DVDs (eg 'Four Flicks') so that I can download them onto my Zen mp3 player. Of course, being the tightwad that I am,it would be great if the software was free! All help is very much appreciated! Cheers, Si.

Hi Whitem8, The only 'Deluxe Release' that is definite is 'The Who Sell Out',which should be available in January.A masterpiece too. As far as I know, there are no plans to deluxe-up anything else although I'd do time for both 'Quad' and 'By Numbers'! Cheers, Si.

Hi SD, I think I may be there earlier than that,as doors for the Indigo are at 7pm and there will probably a lot of pfaffing-around in getting your ticket/wristband. Anyway,a London Pride is in order...later on! Cheers, Si.

Hi Tatters, Thank-you for taking the trouble to post your even-handed review. As you say, there is always some point during a show when it all clicks (and I don't mean bone-issues here) and PT looses himself in the moment. That is why I continue to turn out for as many shows as I can! Cheers, Si.

Hello, Sorry if this one has already been posted, but it sheds a little light on how certain tickets end-up on the ahem, secondary market. Plus,it features The O2.I saw a good band there a couple of times last August.Pretty great, actually! One of the country's biggest entertainment venues, The O2 in London, has launched an investigation into alleged ticket touting and says it will n

Hello, Well Stanley, another fine show by another fine old pro! Old tefal head still can sing sublimely, you know.Whilst his shows may not have 'Killing Joke' levels of intensity there is no doubting the power of material like "Bridge Over Troubled Water",even if he has sung it a million times.Other gems included "The Boxer","Kathy's Song","Scar
