Charlie, you were a true icon. Your drumming style gave the music of the Stones that certain something. Thank you for all the decades that you have given us so much joy. We will miss you very much, and yet you keep drumming in our hearts, feelings and of course all records and videos. You were the undisputed No.1 among all drummers. Rest in peace, Charlie. You've got a special place in my

I'm still shocked and devastated, can't really say what's going on in my mind. Had always dreaded that day ... like many others I think that's going to be the end of the Rolling Stones.

The guitars and overall song sound like the Stones but it's definitely not the Stones. The singer sounds a bit like Mick but it's not him, for sure.

Always hard to rank those masterpieces. As my all time favourite, Sticky Fingers makes it to the top. The silver medal goes to Exile, LIB and BB

I assume the current situation is the beginning of the end of the Stones as a touring band. I'm afraid they won't do any major tours anymore. Probably they'll play some concerts here and there when they're invited to do, but I hardly believe that there will be any tours in the future. Charlie and Ronnie have been seriously ill, Charlie's 80, Mick and Keith close to. A fou

The first time I recognized Bill's great playing was by listening to a Hampton 1981 bootleg. The bass is very much upfront in the mix and you can hear every single note he was playing. Awesome, fantastic, unrivalled. Daryl's definitely a great bassplayer but Bill's playing was outstanding and gave the Stones' rhythms the certain something.

Thanks, I forgot that there had been an anniversary edition. But I meant the release of previously unreleased material from the recording sessions ... even more acid influenced sounds and songs.

A couple of days ago I came to listening to TSMR after a long time. Besides stuff like "Rainbow", "Light Years" or "Citadel/2000 Man", there's so much rubbish on that album, which made me wonder if there'll ever be a deluxe version with unreleased bell ringing and sound experiences. Would anybody buy such a release?

QuoteRisingStone Quotedead.flowers What I understand is that there was legal regulation in the UK at that time that obliged MJ to go into ten days of quarantine after his entry from France. As it looks, he broke that law repeatedly. Is it that law applies only to us ordinary mortals, and while we - or say the great majority of of us all - try to keep the COVID regulations as good as possibl

Honestly speaking, I don't expect another Stones album with new song at all. Mick, Keith and Ronnie have constantly talked about the coming but it didn't happen. I'm afraid just a couple of songs have been recorded, not enough to fill a complete album. In the case, they're seriously heading for releasing a new record, they would have had time enough to complete during all the

IMO the greatest guitar riff of all time is Chuck Berry's intro of "Carol". That particular riff figure reoccures in varied forms. Berry copied hisself several times, so did later guitarists, among them one that we admire most.

Happy Birthday, Charles Robert Watts. 80 years and counting ... hope to see and hear you again. You'rve always been a great drummer, if not one of the greatest in rock ever!

Was there, too. Remember that Keith was either drunk or stoned, he ruined "Memory Motel" and his attempts in playing Like A Rolling Stones could be stated as "Keith is learning a new song" ... But overally, it was a good concert despite the heavy rain.

There are lots of alternative healing therapies, hence Ronnie doesn't need to accept chemo. A friend of mine suffered from cancer and underwent chemo about three years ago. In addition to losing his hair, there is aftermath no one has told him before. His teeth are brittle, he has skin rashes, still a continuing dry mouth ... He fully recovered but these follow late impacts are nothing one w

It's quite amazing reading all the comments. Nice range between "Love it" and "that's crap". Funny to see how people analyze a new song that should be rather viewed with a wink. Hell, people, there are two bored musicians that produced a new song. That's it. I guess neither Mick nor Dave are expecting this song becoming a global hit single. They've just

I watched the video of that show last night and stopped during YCAGWYW. Horrible playing, lousy interaction, sloppy guitars ... I understand that was the opening night for the US leg of that tour but despite nervousness it seems they were badly prepared. Can't also agree on that Keith "nailed his solo" in Sad Sad Sad. That was the worst performance of this song I've ever seen/

I assume that most pop and rock musicians had sex with underaged girls in the 1960s and 1970s, surely before in the 50s. I bet noone ever gave a damn on that.
