QuoteMisterDDDD I'm all in.. now just deciding which Stones mask to wear over my medical grade mask. Would prefer vax/test proof required shows. But- With precautions fully vaxxed people have very little to be concerned about. Yeah, I wish they would require a vaccine proof but since I’m fully vaccinated and will be wearing a mask, I’m as safe there as I am at any other public place, so

From Explore St. Louis “Face coverings are required at all times while in The Dome at America’s Center!” Guests are required to wear masks at all times, except while eating or drinking as part of our health and safety standards. Eating and drinking is allowed in your seating pod. Eating or drinking is prohibited while walking from the concession stand to your seat. Face coverings must be f

Quotesnoopy2 I still feel the same about my earlier St. Louis post (I took it down cuz the same point has been made over and over) ... BUT because of Kovach's kindness/helpfulness to everyone visiting his city I, too, have decided to make the opener as it's only a 7 hour drive. Got a "very good" rate at the Hyatt/Arch for two nights with two beds in hopes someone might want

Quotebv My only goal for St Louis is to see The Rolling Stones. Same. I’ll need a couple of meals while I’m there but I really don’t have anything else on my agenda other than the show. My flight lands around 8:30 AM that morning though, so hoping I can get early check-in at The Marriott.

Thanks for all the info, Kovach. I always like to hear from locals when I’m traveling to a new destination, so I appreciate you taking the time to give us some tips and suggestions. I was kidding (mostly) about staying in the hotel until showtime, but as a female traveling alone, I can’t be too cautious. I plan to uber from the airport to the hotel on Sunday morning and will stick pretty close to

QuoteJadedFaded First the large group bow. Then Mick, Keith and Ronnie bow. Then a picture of Charlie on ALL 4 screens, with Mick, Keith and Ronnie turning to bow to Charlie. And the crowd will chant CHARLIE, CHARLIE, CHARLIE for a very long time. Many of us will cry a fountain of tears. I got tears in my eyes just reading this.

QuoteIgotDbluez Same here…..really felt I needed to be at this show (and not so far away from Memphis). We have GA and staying at the Magnolia. Nice! That looks like a cool place to stay. I’m flying in from Birmingham early the morning of the show and will have all day to kill since I have a seat and won’t be lining up early for GA entry.

Quoteloog droog It seems trivial to point this out, but today, Sept 11 is also the 20th Anniversary of the release of "Love and Theft" which I think is one of the best things Bob has ever done. It’s definitely one of his best and the fact that it debuted on 9/11 is yet another example of how deeply woven into history his works are. I’ll never forget him dropping Murder Most Foul in t

QuoteSodacityflyguy QuoteBFR I bought a ticket this morning to the St. Louis show. Something in my gut tells me I need to be there for the first show of this tour. I’ll be going solo but the opportunity to have a floor seat right beside the end of the catwalk on the B side was something I just couldn’t pass up Did the same a week ago. Couldn't pass it up..B section by catwalk. Did u get

QuoteMisterDDDD Which is part of the way out of this mess imo, as this is a disease of the unvaxxed. Time for more stick, less carrot.. ban them from shows, planes, trains and automobiles (everything else) as far as I'm concerned. Woo-woo!! I’m vaxxed, will be masked, and ready to rock. The show must go on for those that are willing to take necessary precautions to keep themselves and oth

QuoteTopi True. It's actually possible to miss Charlie but also appreciate the fact that the band krrps on going for now. The two aren't mutually exclusive. Absolutely agree. I think we’re all hurting and mourning in our own ways, but Charlie’s passing serves as a reminder that all our days are fleeting and I’m grateful for the opportunity to see the rest of the band a few more times

Quotedaspyknows QuoteTiminIndy One month away from the show - can't wait!! Has anyone heard anything about opening acts? Black Pumas or Alabama Shakes would be nice... Brittany Howard has gone solo. Alabama Shakes no longer shaking. That’s right. The drummer, Steve Johnson, was arrested on child abuse charges earlier this year. The band hasn’t been active since 2018. I was supposed

Quotedaspyknows QuoteBFR Harry Styles is currently touring in the U.S. to sold out arenas and so far no problems. He requires proof of Covid vaccine or negative test prior to entry and masks are required for the audience at all times. No problems? Between all the fake vaccine cards and people not wearing masks it is safety theater. I attended a show last week where masks required for entry. O

Perfectly stated, Lady Jayne. I wholeheartedly agree and am so glad his privacy and that of his family has been respected. He lived his life with dignity and discretion and deserves to have his death treated likewise.

I’m planning on attending this show and would like to meet up with some fellow Stones fans at Rock Bottom. One thing to note, The Nashville Predators hockey team will be playing a preseason game at Bridgestone Arena (just a few blocks up Broadway from the brewery) at 3:00 PM the day of the concert, so plan for big crowds at bars in the area and higher demand for Uber, Lyft, etc. Go Preds!
