I noticed on amazon that "Waiting on a Friend" is not listed in the tracks for the Vinyl reissue.

It's there - [TheRollingStonesShop.co.uk] .

I should have been more specific. I was referring to the double vinyl edition.

It would be cool if the Webley show is the best of both shows!

I think Princess Diana and Prince Charles were at one of these shows and they stepped it up a notch.

I was at both shows and sort of remember this.

Maybe someone has insight on this.

Considering she gave birth to Prince William four days earlier, I think thats highly unlikely. Neither of them ever attended a Stones show.

Maybe its 'infamous' because of the urban myth perpetuated by Nick Kent that Keith punched Ronnie in the face on the second night for flubbing the intro to 'Shes So Cold'.

Complete fiction.

Thank you, that makes sense. That Nick Kent dude certainly got himself in the middle of shit shows quite often.

When my friend, who actually produced the original Lonely At The Top vinyl bootleg back in the 80's, proudly presented me a free copy, I would have never thought that one day, Living In The Heart Of Love would be the last Stones "single" while Charlie was still alive.

Second single? What was the first? I don't think Living In the Heart of Love has actually been release, has it, as anything other than a youtube video.

That is the way they released singles these days. You do not need physical format for young generation. Streaming service or youtube is OK.

Maybe if they list the musicians on each track we will find out if Taylor does indeed play on Waiting on A Friend.Although the listings on the Exile Deluxe in 2010 were mostly innacurate

Not only for the younger generation - Streaming had in 2020 in the United States a market share of 83% (physical: 9%) - [iorr.org] .

Is that the way the "second single" is going to be "released" too?

Fine with me I guess, one less piece of detritus to purchase.

And sure ain't gonna pay to download something like that. I don't know who these folks think is interested in their music from fifty years ago, but I do not see a lot of downloaders going wild over this stuff.
