I read on Trip Advisor that the BBQ restaurant next door, SugarFire, offers discounts to the museum, so that seems like a good choice for lunch.

QuoteRam I’ll echo the same thing I tell people at Dead and Co shows who complain about John Mayer not being Jerry. Of course John’s not Jerry and Steve isn’t our wonderful Charlie. But be happy there are still shows to see. Go and be happy or stay home and be miserable. Easy as that. AMEN! It’s also not fair to judge the band on their first show back in months and months, with a new drummer, p

I would be interested in the Blues Museum if a group is going. Maybe even lunch before. I’ll be getting to the Marriott around 9:30 AM. EMail is open.

Quoteslewan I'd guess that this announcement will be somehow related to the tour. A club show? One of the upcoming shows being broadcast online? Plus: They have to do something to boost poor/slow ticket sales for most of the upcoming shows I took it to mean it would be a music video for the song, but hoping there are some extra licks to be had

QuoteNilsHolgersson Another old footage video created by their marketing team.. I wish the Stones would do an actual video sometime like this one: It would be nice to see The Glimmers doing a duet like The Brothers Jagger did there, wouldn’t it?

I really wish the USA would announce exactly when in November so our friends across the pond could make plans. Then again, everything is subject to change without notice these days so concrete plans are near impossible. Will be interesting to see if tickets for the November shows start getting snapped up. Fingers crossed for the Euro folks.

Quotesnoopy2 Someone mentioned no B stage songs on the list, I think Memory Motel would certainly work there From your keyboard to Mick’s (or Chuck’s!) ears

I might drown in my own tears if they play Memory Motel in St. Louis. It’s one of my absolute favorites of theirs and would be all the more poignant now. Thanks for the insight, BV.

DUOS & DUETS Tue, Sep 21, 2021 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM EDT From the mind of our Artistic Director and 2021 NEA Jazz Master Terri Lyne Carrington comes the return of the Carr Center’s exciting virtual concert series, "dUOS & dUETS", pairing up industry giants in ways you have never seen them paired before. QuoteDougratajczak87 Topi, if I remember right, there were like 2 songs a night from Sticky Fingers per night, yeah? Maybe something like Neighbors or Hang Fire makes the occasional apperance. Don't think will be Waiting on a Friend or Worried About You as those fall more in the ballad category for me. Personally, I hope Neighbors doesn’t make the cut. That’s the only song on the a

The Over/Under looks good. They open at 11:00 AM on Sundays. Bar food but lots of options and a short walk from The Dome and the hotels a lot of us are staying in. They’ve got patio seating and lots of TVs for NFL viewing.

QuoteMisterDDDD I'm all in.. now just deciding which Stones mask to wear over my medical grade mask. Would prefer vax/test proof required shows. But- With precautions fully vaxxed people have very little to be concerned about. Yeah, I wish they would require a vaccine proof but since I’m fully vaccinated and will be wearing a mask, I’m as safe there as I am at any other public place, so

From Explore St. Louis “Face coverings are required at all times while in The Dome at America’s Center!” Guests are required to wear masks at all times, except while eating or drinking as part of our health and safety standards. Eating and drinking is allowed in your seating pod. Eating or drinking is prohibited while walking from the concession stand to your seat. Face coverings must be f

Quotesnoopy2 I still feel the same about my earlier St. Louis post (I took it down cuz the same point has been made over and over) ... BUT because of Kovach's kindness/helpfulness to everyone visiting his city I, too, have decided to make the opener as it's only a 7 hour drive. Got a "very good" rate at the Hyatt/Arch for two nights with two beds in hopes someone might want

Quotebv My only goal for St Louis is to see The Rolling Stones. Same. I’ll need a couple of meals while I’m there but I really don’t have anything else on my agenda other than the show. My flight lands around 8:30 AM that morning though, so hoping I can get early check-in at The Marriott.

Thanks for all the info, Kovach. I always like to hear from locals when I’m traveling to a new destination, so I appreciate you taking the time to give us some tips and suggestions. I was kidding (mostly) about staying in the hotel until showtime, but as a female traveling alone, I can’t be too cautious. I plan to uber from the airport to the hotel on Sunday morning and will stick pretty close to

QuoteJadedFaded First the large group bow. Then Mick, Keith and Ronnie bow. Then a picture of Charlie on ALL 4 screens, with Mick, Keith and Ronnie turning to bow to Charlie. And the crowd will chant CHARLIE, CHARLIE, CHARLIE for a very long time. Many of us will cry a fountain of tears. I got tears in my eyes just reading this.

QuoteIgotDbluez Same here…..really felt I needed to be at this show (and not so far away from Memphis). We have GA and staying at the Magnolia. Nice! That looks like a cool place to stay. I’m flying in from Birmingham early the morning of the show and will have all day to kill since I have a seat and won’t be lining up early for GA entry.
