Good morning, I am looking for the following Bang your boots from 2006: - the best sounding sources for MSG 1/18 and 1/20 - the ALD recording of Atlantic City (not sure if a matrix exists).

One of the most impressive things about Micks' physicality is his sense of balance. He has excellent posture and can still run with a respectable pace without the sort of old man's gait that affects many around his age. This may seem like a dumb question, but has Mick ever fallen or so much as tripped over his own feet onstage? I have never seen him less than 100 percent on his game

Thanks for this, now my favorite recording of the tour. Two great sources for a rich, fat sound. Love it.

I'm a staunch believer that if A Bigger Bang had been 10-11 tracks, it would be in their top 10. There are some really strong, rocking tracks on that record. My trimmed down version would be: 1. Rough Justice 2. Dangerous Beauty 3. Let Me Down Slow 4. Rain Fall Down 5. This Place is Empty 6. It Won't Take Long 7. Back of My Hand 8. She Saw Me Coming 9. Driving Too Fast 10. L

Santa Clara had the run of Far Away Eyes, Like a Rolling Stone, Bite My Head Off, and Mess It Up.

It took me a long time to warm up to the 1981 tour. My first exposure to it was Still Life, which admittedly was not the best document of it in retrospect. I thought the performances were sloppy, choppy and Mick’s vocals were horrible. Then I finally heard the full Hampton Roads which is of course a much better representation and finds the band in top form. For all the talk of his playing i

Now that the Hackney Diamonds U.S. tour has concluded, I think a discussion can be held about the tour's best shows, performances, etc. Qualifiers include set list, performance and playing level, individual songs that stood out, etc. My personal Top 5 would be: 1. MetLife 2 2. Ridgedale 3. Santa Clara 4. Los Angeles 2 5. Chicago 2 Others I really enjoyed include Glendale and Ve

Just saw Dead and Company for Fourth of July and it’s really worth it. The sound and visuals are top notch and cannot be experienced in any other venue. I’m not sure if it’s plausible for the Stones, but I’d love to see them there. Hearing Keith’s riff at full volume with that sound quality would be simply stunning. And we may finally get Casino Boogie live!

I think the Bang tour would have a better reputation if it ended after the Fall '06 leg, which aside from the Beacon leg was maybe the best run of the entire tour. That was the last tour where they seemed intent on regularly pulling out true rarities (She's So Cold, She Was Hot, Sway), daring covers (Mr. Pitiful, Get Up Stand Up, Night Time is the Right Time), and bombastic stage shows

Slipping Away set the template for what people think of in modern times as a Keith ballad.

Street Fighting Man will win. I won’t mind it, hopefully they draw out the ending like they did in 2017.

My theory is that it’s a combo of relative sobriety and maybe practicing more. I think Keith also has adapted well to his limitations and can accurately work on reformatting his timing to fit the current sound. His playing has been a roller coaster since 2016 but we’re definitely on the uphill slope now.

Keith may keep it simple now on Sympathy, but what he plays sounds really good. I used it to get anxiety attacks listening to modern Sympathy’s. IMO the best post-Steel Wheels version is Glastonbury.
