QuoteCJFP Are they going into the studio again, or is Keith referring to the time in January? I think he was referring to the most recent studio sessions in LA. georgelicks said they have more studio time booked for after the tour in late August or September. If that's the case, and it's for mixing and overdubbing, than I can see a December release for this year. If it's more rec

I can't believe this is a Sticky thread again lol. They're working on it, they'll work on it again after the tour and hopefully finish it this year for a late fall 2019 or early 2020 release. Until then let's get excited for the tour starting in a little over a months time.

It's honestly not surprising anymore at this point that they're still working on the album. Knowing that, I think we should all just listen to georgelicks, everybody go on with their lives and we'll check back in with this album in another half year when the band goes in the studio to work on it again because there's nothing else to talk for now and in the near future. Let

Quotegeorgie48 Hi Jordy, I'm sure, with all the responses so far, you already feel you are part now of a family that has embrased a fantastic band for as long as almost six decades. I could tell you my story of "how I discovered The Rolling Stones" 55 years ago as 15 years young kid, but I think, with your passion you already can imagine the impact it had on me. So you have to tr

Just thought I'd make a post about my deepest appreciation for this band and the history behind why they mean so much to me. My dad has been a HUGE Stones fan since he first heard Satisfaction on the radio in 1965. He really wanted HOT ROCKS for Christmas in 1976. His parents got him, by mistake, MORE HOT ROCKS. He was so dissapointed but when he played the record, he was blown away by all o

QuoteCJFP QuoteJordyLicks96 I personally like it! It's supposed to look sloppy and painted like it took 5 minutes to paint. It's very "Stonesy" Jordy, you always get me! Maybe it's just that young person's mindset CJFP! We are responsible for keeping the Stones legacy intact for future generations! I'm just so happy that the Stones are still here and be

Interestingly, Mick wrote the music for Highwire pre-STEEL WHEELS and wrote the lyrics in December 1990. According to Jagger, the music for “High Wire” dates back to pre-Steel Wheels days: “It was one of those things that I played for people, but no one seemed to pick up on it.” The tune got a new lease on life when the Stones decided to record a brand-new studio track for the live album. “I

I have a few people, not all, but some people who LOVE to repeatedly say to me this is not a demo of YGMR. I GOT IT THE INFO FROM THE BOOTLEG VOODOO STEW AND ON NICO'S WEBSITE. It amazes me how rude some people can be, and again this is not speaking to all of you. Whether it is or not, we may never know. I changed the title of the video to "5-String Riffin'" and left it in the

Quotepunkfloyd Tom me, this sounds like Mick, not Keith, noodling around in Open G. What do you guys think? video: Definitely Keith here. You can hear Keith talking at the end of the song. Keith came up with the title and riff, while Mick wrote the verses. "Keith is also great at phrases. You Got Me Rocking Now-that was his phrase and Mick finished it." - Chuck Leavell, June 19

I've probably been following the new album page since it started up in 2016. I've enjoyed the discussion but I think its gone a bit overboard at this point. Yes, this is probably the longest its ever taken for them to record a new album. Do I expect the finished product to be among the best they've ever put out? Absolutely not. Do I expect it to be a quality album with classic Ston
