I'm so thrilled that the Stones are playing in Canada at this site! It's Canada Day Weekend and it's our biggest national party! Try to get a room as close as possible to the site to avoid the traffic. Even with the traffic congestion it will be absolutely memorable!

They don't know yet, so hurry...I actually live in Toronto but I know that trying to get to the site the day of show from Toronto is going to take hours...no exaggeration., so I booked the might before. It;s going to be a mess. It's Canada Day Weekend and Barrie has it's own in town festival going on.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks QuoteSomeTorontoGirl CNE stadium was torn down after the Skydome (now Rogers Centre) opened in ‘89. The BMO Field eventually was built on CNE grounds nearby. it was torn down in 1999 not 89. it would of been hard for The Stones to play there in 94 That '94 Vooddoo Lounge show is my favourite of the 15 times I've seen them. The last time that people rolled joints

I'm going to look at this bit of evidence....The bands that have their own dedicated Sirius Channels are The Beatles, Elvis, Springsteen, Grateful Dead and Pearl Jam...of which only three are still performing. The stature of those three bands at least, seems to be intact.
