We said that when they turned 40, 50, 60, 70. It's just because no band has ever done this before. Mick is pushing the boundaries here!

Jerry Lee Lewis has partnered with Mick Jagger, Victoria Pearman, Steve Bing, and Peter Afterman to produce a career-spanning documentary film. Directed by T-Bone Burnett and Callie Khouri. We expect you'll be hearing much more about the project in the coming months.

I'm sure the Stones will do more things. There's still an album in the pipeline for which they did some recording sesions between the tours.

QuoteDoc In spite of his wealth, his reputation and his glamorous friends, he is mostly seen at the wheel of a fairly downmarket Opel station wagon, or a tiny Nissan Micra or his old 505 Peugeot. He still has that Nissan Micra? Omg

Did Bob Dylan perform Like a Rolling Stone with the Stones on the Bridges to Babylon tour in Brazil or in Argentina? Or both? Because I read in Philip Norman's biography of Mick that it was in Brazil but it's on the Bridges to Buenos Aires bluray.

They did already receive the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987, and that basically says: your career was great, but happy retirement. So anything after 1987 was really a gift.

Quotepftw04 This band was formed by 5 young British boys. Mick Jagger, a flamboyant singer, Keith Richards a stylish guitarist, Brian Jones a slide guitar, Charlie Watts the drummer and the majestic bass Bill Wyman. Actually Bill was already pretty old when he joined them

QuoteDoxa Nice read, thanks. It really sounds like the place is Jagger's place to relax, or 'home' in Jaggeresque terms... Sounds so gentleman-like - a British aristocrat who lives in a castle, but being so ordinary that is driving with Nissan Micra and all, and chats with the locals, giving helping hand in cricet... charming! But a snake in the paradise: "the adults sm

How is he not superfit? I've watched videos of Fauja Singh running the marathon. Somehow I don't believe he's actually 109 years old. He must have added 20 years to his age!

Well Mick and Keith are in different parts of the world so I don't think they're gonna get on planes to get together and "do something" in this situation.. that would be reckless

QuotePecman Growing up in the 80's... My friend Domenic was a huge Ozzy fan... He only listened to Ozzy 22 hours a day and Black Sabbath and Night Ranger the other 2 hours. But when Primitive Cool came out... He LOVED "Let's Work"...so much that he actually bought Primitive Cool and listened to "Let's Work" constantly. I said to him...I don't ge

Lazy.. well.. how many people who are almost 77 like Mick are still working everyday? He still intends to do the tour, is working on a GHS reissue, he just did the Burnt Orange Heresy movie, he's working on this podcast project with Warner Bros, he must be working everyday on all his projects and staying in shape to even perform at his age.

Quotedcba Quotebv The Rolling Stones will not be performing any shows in 2020, that is my prediction. Maybe maybe they could spend the coming months in a confined, safe, isolated-from-the-outside environnement... like a world-class recording studio? Away from the virus, in touch with their muse? Mick and keef are (hopefully) too old and mature to go at each other's throat when put toge
