QuoteDoxa QuoteNilsHolgersson Well the Rolling Stones company will always throw an album at us every year whether it be a live album, from the vault, reissue or deluxe version or compilation or whatever. So far there's no official announcement so I guess the GHS reissue might be in for 2020. Most probably yes. Like Mick said when SOME GIRLS was re-issued: "We had this idea that we&

Quotelem motlow There have been many people who have a sort of Jagger look but have you ever actually seen a human being that really looked like Mick? Keith too, guys try to look like that but it’s strange. The entire band are like their own type of human- Rolling Stones. Brian and Mick T maybe but that’s it. I’ve never said hey that guy looks like Charlie Watts or even Bill Wyman. With Ronni

I wanted to buy something Stones-related so I bought the Sticky Fingers Super Deluxe version and I'm enjoying it now. I'm looking at the people who worked on the album and noticed.. almost everybody died except the Stones themselves! Living: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman, Ry Cooder, Jim Price Dead: Ian Stewart, Paul Buckmaster, Jim Dickinson, Ro

I do think the Stones tongue logo will be eternally cool for kids to wear.

I don't really think so. For younger kids, teens, it's more the singer than the song they like. Generally they don't really care about artists aged 40+ and they don't care about singers who died about 50 years ago. They might like a remix like Junkie XL's A Little Less Conversation though but I don't think it's going to make them massive Elvis fans.

I've been listening to Voodoo Lounge outtakes.. great stuff on there.. Zip Mouth Angel etc.. I wish they would just (in case there's a writer's block like I read on here) finish these demos and just release some kind of Tattoo You 2020 album. Who cares if it's from 1993.. Stones songs are timeless..

Quotegeorgelicks Rolling Stones in 1989: Steel Wheels was a multi-platinum album, it spent 4 months in the Top 10, 7 months in the Top 50 and it spawned a Top 5 hit and a Top 25 hit. Also the band was in their mid 40's back then. Rolling Stones in 2020: The band is in their mid-late 70's, the last studio album was released 15 years ago and barely went gold, it lasted 3 weeks in

Who releases a new album because of an anniversary? No.. you release a career retrospective compilation album on an occasion like that. Sixty Licks.. The Rolling Stones 1962-2022.. with a brand new version of Satisfaction (featuring Miley Cyrus)

Maybe the Stones could do a duet album with contemporary artists.. 01 - Start Me Up (with Ed Sheeran) 02 - Paint It Black (with Billie Eilish) 03 - Gimme Shelter (with Post Malone) 04 - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (with The Weeknd) 05 - Wild Horses (with Taylor Swift) 06 - Sympathy for the Devil (with Eminem) 07 - Beast of Burden (with Drake) 08 - Angie (with Justin Bieber) 09 -

QuoteWorriedAboutYou As much as I adore the Stones and would easily choose at least two-three of their studio albums for my all time personal top 10, they've never done anything for me live. Even in the Taylor years and the legendary bootlegs from that era, I just don't like the way the band sounds and find Jagger's vocals a real turn-off. Keith and Ronnie's "weaving"

Quotekeithsman Am i the only one that just wishes they would abandon this Stones album and all three of them go in the Studio and make a solo album of originals each. That way we get something good to listen to. I loved Ronnies solo album, Feel Like Playing. This is the thing though concerning Mick's writers block, if he really could write great music he would have made a very good solo a

QuoteDoxa Cannot help but think that this whole GOATS HEAD SOUP reissue project is some kind of therapy thing for Mick - at least if the rumours of him being frustrated about the new album project are true. Like 'for christ's sake, I need to get at least something done.' Then why won't he just release a solo album? It's been almost 20 years since Goddess in the Doorway.
