I'm no apologist for Neil Sedaka, but he did have a critical role in the early days (pre-British Invasion). Sedaka and his partner Howard Greenfield were some of the original creators of the Brill Building Sound. That's nontrivial, you have to admit. More specifically, in the late fifties and early sixties they were the first to sign with Don Kirshner and Al Nevins at Aldon Music.

shedooby, I pretty much agree with you. If the alternative is that the Stones don't tour, then I'll take the current setlist or a variant thereof.
